Description
Lisa Wheeler's bouncy, rhyming text and Barry Gott's energetic illustrations invite readers to celebrate a dino-style Thankgiving!
Follow along as dinos travel over the river and through the woods to join together with family. They enjoy favorite activities, including a corn maze, a televised parade with giant balloon creations, and of course a football game! The dinos share in not one but two feasts—one for the carnivores and another for the veggie-saurs. Join in the fun as the dinos find much to be thankful for on this special holiday!

This is a really fun Thanksgiving book. What a great one to incorporate in your child's library or in a classroom. It's a fun way to look at our Thanksgiving traditions as dinosaurs participate in them! The pictures are great and children will love to have you read this to them!
The publisher made this available for review via netgalley. This is my honest review.
This was a great rhyming book about Thanksgiving and all of the fun traditions you and your family can participate in. I love the Dinos and all of the bright, colorful illustrations. Now I have to read the rest of the Dino books.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.
The latest installment in the Dino series, this one focuses on Thanksgiving. The rhymes are fun as usual with dinosaurs playing football before dinner, carnivores cooking turkey, and herbivores making salads and veggies. Great fun!
I read this and then immediately turned around and shared it with my four year old son and he adored it!!! The illustrations were super fun and cute. There was so much activity for him to look at while I read him the story/rhymes.
He has a fuzzy idea of what Thanksgiving is like, but he doesn’t really remember much so I thought it’d be fun to read him a book about it. This shared all the highlights of the preparation, the food, the festivities, and the friends and family you surround yourself with. He and I especially enjoyed reading what everyone was thankful for. He is thankful for dinosaurs in case you are wondering. 😆
I recommend this to children probably first grade and under. It is adorable, has a lot that you can talk about beyond what you read on the pages which we love. He was really enchanted with the many dinos and that they had names. Like I said, super cute!!
Thanks so much to NetGalley and CarolRhoda Books for the opportunity to read this book for my honest and unbiased opinion.
