A 3.5 stars for this very steamy and fast paced read. A man bound to an unusual inheritance clause in which it states that he needs to wed and have a child before turning 30. A girl who lives a nomadic life running away from her inner issues. Fate leads both towards happiness after testing their limits and fears. An interesting story of two people with such different character yet so right for each other.

This is the first time I’m reading this Author. Whilst it is instant attraction and steam, this novel is definitely a very slow burn romance. This book is very well written and improves as it goes along in the storyline. It took me a few chapters to get into it, but was so glad I stuck with it and enjoyed it in the end. It has some of the steamiest words, yet most romantic sentiments, that I’ve read in a while.

Adron is a deep brooding musician, that enjoys his summers every year at his Aunt Jenna’s home. He also has an inheritance waiting for him that has unusual requirements that needs to be fulfilled, before he is able to inherit. His parents, who have been absent, both physically and emotionally, most of his life, are putting intense pressure on him.

Alyson is a professional house and pet sitter, who travels the country and teaches remotely on-line, to pay back debts, and fund her nomadic lifestyle. She is a gregarious free spirit, who has no interest putting down roots. She is often reckless in nature, but enjoys living in the moment.

Whilst this book is a stand-alone romance, there has been room left for a next book with characters from this story and town to continue.

Then she arrives in Carefree, AZ where her employer Jenna's nephew is also staying in a casita on the property for the summer while she is away. At first meeting she is blown away by his crazy blue eyes, hot body and the sizzle that seems to be between them. Alyson, does not believe in true love, but a summer fling may be a good way to pass her time... Except Adron has to fall in love and marry to get his inheritance.

If you are looking for a hot and steamy romance book this is the one for you. It introduces you to a young woman who does not believe in commitments and who flits from job to job as a housesitter. The love interest in the story is a gorgeous (of course), hunky, very rich man whose parents are demanding he marry and have a child before he is 30 and time is running out. That being said the story moved in a fast paced way. You meet a lot of fun characters and smart, snappy dialogue. There is a lot of humor in the book and lots of other saucy scenes. Lots of conflicts and secrets are included. It covers it all. I was warned in the book description about the love scenes so be prepared. If this kind of book is for you, you will love it. I give it 4 stars. It is a book that holds your interest from beginning to end.

If you like a hot "saucy" romantic comedy then you'll love His Secret. What more could you ask for than a hot, brooding alpha, a sexy firecracker and small town named Carefree, Arizona where everyone knows your business! I love small town romances and this one is no exception.

The h and H come with a past and their insecurities
The romance slow burns nicely

If I have to find a flaw the first the charpter are difficult bordering with boring and TMI on backstory.

This was my first experience reading this author’s work and I’ll be reading more judging from this read. A fascinating, interesting plot that drew me in immediately. The story flows well and Adron and Alyson were well-developed characters that were thoroughly engaging and quite enjoyable to read. There’s a message buried in this book that was thought-provoking – sometimes we need someone else’s perspective to open our eyes and see things differently than what our hearts feel, especially if it’s concerning people who are role models that we look to for answers. I’ve always liked to believe that everything happens for a reason and this book very aptly paints that picture. I look forward to more from this author. Wow! This is my first book by this author, but it won't be my last. Adron has a secret - in order to get his inheritance, he needs to marry and have a child by his 30th birthday - the pressure is on from his parents to find a bride, but he wants to marry for love. Alyson is a nomadic housesitter with a love for hot sauce - determined not to put down roots due to some family trauma in her past. When she comes to housesit for his aunt, there is immediate attraction. Not only is it super steamy - it's also funny and entertaining. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end.

Well written romance. Interesting from the first page. You really get into the story and feel connected to the characters.

Beautiful cover, that's what caught my eye first.

This was an enjoyable, easy to read romance in which you can lose yourself in.
The characters are wonderful and brought to life beautifully with the authors fantastic way with words. Adrian and Alyson are complete opposites, but that seems to help this relationship blossom.
Steamy and sweet all at once, this book is the perfect form of escapism that we all need. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
