Description

The heist is on.

Molly Sinclair is a pirate and a witch, and if there’s a chance at gold, she’s going to take it.

The isles are a magical world, bordered by ice but never cold. A world where everyone is born human or witch, and magic is the currency of choice. Spells are bought, packaged and sold by the powerful witch’s guild and Molly wants nothing to do with them.

Molly is a craftborn witch, more powerful than most, yet forced to hide her skills. She longs to be free: to sail her ship, protect her younger brother, and stay clear of scheming marketeers, the governor, an absent king and the guild.

But tension in the isles runs high. The years of plenty are fading and people are poor. Power is shifting, and freedom costs money.

When Molly steals a chest full of spells from the governor’s palace, his not-so-royal nephew steps in and a search begins.

Now, Molly needs to find out who is lying and who is telling the truth before the final battle destroys them all.

Marketing Plan

Currently running an offer for a free ebook prior to launch on the book's website, along with a boosted post on the Facebook author's page linking back to the website. The free book requests but does not require reviews.

On launch day, the book will be advertised as on sale for a limited time with concurrent Facebook and Amazon ads announcing the new release and discounted price. Following that, the book will be priced at $4.69. The paperback version will be also be out, at full price of $17.99.

During launch week, I will be doing a webinar that runs statewide on "Taking Your Manuscript from Project to Print," through the Alaska Writers Guild, and pitching the release of the new book.

Also during launch week, I will promote my books by making another fantasy title, SUNDER, ECLIPSE AND SEED, free for a limited time. I will have reviews coming in several local newspapers as well as SFWA's new releases, and other sites.

I have been in contact with local independent bookstores around the state that carry my books but in person signings have temporarily been canceled due to Covid.
