Every town seems to have a crazy cat lady. When Andi Grace and Marc find their local cat lady dead on the beach, it brings Andi Grace into the mix. She feels responsible for finding the woman’s killer since she found the body and that is only reinforced once she becomes a target as well. Now if only Andi Grace and Marc can figure it out before Andi Grace becomes the killers next victim.
A great series set in Low Country that will have you drinking coffee and sleuthing right along with Andi Grace and Marc. I look forward to the solid whodunit chock full of red herrings in every entry and can almost smell the salty air as I read. A great addition to your cozy reading list!
Andi Grace is fast becoming one of my favorite characters. I love her dedication to her family and friends, especially all those who are animals.
When Andi and her boyfriend Marc discover the body of a local resident, dead on the beach, Andi feels compelled to find out who killed her and why.

Andi Grace is rather more than a dog walker but also does dog rescue placement and obedience training. She and her boyfriend are surprised to find the murdered body of the local cat rescue lady while out for a walk along the beach. The sleuthing does not go smoothly but has more snags and problems than most even as problems arise with the siblings she raised after their parents died in an auto wreck. The characters are wonderful, the world building is great, and the dogs are really special.
I really loved it and had to finish it in one day!
I requested and received a free ebook copy from Bell Bridge Books via NetGalley. Thank you!
Bag of Bones is the third installment in the Low Country Dog Walker Mystery series featuring dog walker/plantation owner Andi Grace Scott and her furry companion, Sunny. An early morning run on the beach with boyfriend Marc Williams leads to the discovery of the body of Tabby Malkin. The eccentric woman mostly kept to herself and was known around town for feeding the stray cats; she certainly didn't deserve to die.
Andi Grace and Marc team up to find Tabby's killer and a long list of suspects includes Tabby's caregiver, Andi Grace's ex boyfriend and a crotchety old man who didn't want the cats being fed. The author does a fantastic job weaving the mystery and Andi Grace's family and relationship dynamics together for a fast paced page turner. The conclusion will have you grinning from ear to ear and looking forward to the next adventures of Andi Grace and her furry friends.
I received an advanced copy of Bag of Bones from NetGalley via Bell Bridge Books. While not required to write a review I am happy to offer my honest opinion.

This is the 3rd of the Dog Walker mystery series. Andi Grace Scott is working to start a healthier lifestyle with her boyfriend Marc and as they are running on the beach the dogs dig in the sand and they find the body of Tabby who is new to island and has been going out at night feeding feral cats. Given she is so new to the island, it is hard to believe anyone had a reason to kill her but Andi Grace is convinced it is murder. Andi is shockingly attacked by her ex-boyfriend Danny which seems so out of character by him. Tabby’s caregiver Kylie is in need of help and Andi steps in as does her family. This is a fast-paced mystery with lots of surprises and twists with other members in the community and those new to the community. I love that Andi Grace’s primary focus is always her family and friends and that she can put tragedy aside when it happens and always focus on moving forward. Very inspirational especially in light of these crazy times. I was surprised by the killer and that is always a good thing. I really enjoy this series and highly recommend this series.
I really enjoy the way faith and family are interwoven in The Low Country Dog Walker Mystery series. In this book as with many of the cozies I read, family isn't always genetic. Andi Grace sets an excellant example just like her dog Sunny. These stories have just the right amount of spirituality to not be preachy and to still deliver a great cozy, which means that our main character is not perfect but just tries to do their best in all they do. That includes solving murders and this time is no exception. Andi Grace really has her job cut out for her this time as she is literally attached by her high school sweetheart who seems to have nothing but disdain for her now, disdain and a crazy and erratic temper. Not exactly someone who should be running for office, so what is he really up to? That coupled with the fact that the local cat lady, Tabby, is found dead and by Andi Grace and Marc while on a beach run. Was it the aide, the daughter, did she just trip and hit her head, or was it something more? The way these characters, Andi Grace's support system, come together for each other and for complete strangers is awesome. Andi Grace seems to have never met a stranger and excels at making people feel comfortable, not to mention that she had an uncanny ability to match people and dogs. This seriers is not only entertaining but is also a very good reminder to me that all things are possible through God, that prayer works miracles, and that sometimes you just need to give it to God to handle. Looking forward to the next book maybe this time, Juliet won't have to keep waiting for Nate to make some kind of public declaration.
Andi Scott Grace, dog trainer and walker seems to have a penchant for finding bodies. She was walking on the beach with boyfriend, Marc and their dogs when they came upon another one. Andi knows the victim and just can’t stop herself from investigating. The danger is closer to home than she had ever expected. She’s attacked, her sister is a victim of an intentional car crash, her home destroyed and more. Her close circle of friends and the sheriff’s department try to keep her safe, but the danger comes from an unexpected source. Her near death answers all her questions. Plenty of intrigue and great interaction between the friends.
I requested and received a Netgalley ARC gratis, and recommend to cozy readers.
