Gaians and their magic have stayed hidden for centuries, forbidden by their lore to associate with humankind, but there is change in the air. The signs have appeared, and the young lord, Luminor must risk coming out of hiding to save his clan from extinction.

When a raving lunatic turns up in the main square of Splendo, dying of burns in front of a large crowd, soon followed by other victims, it becomes obvious there is a real and terrible threat.

Humans do not have the answer.

Lord Luminor, with his unique powers, answers the call and takes up the quest – for an alliance with humankind is the only way to secure a future for his dwindling people.

Grappling with his perilous destiny as Lord of Fire, he faces betrayal, and finds his magic and sense of duty tested to the limit - he certainly didn’t count on falling in love with a human girl.
