Lucy Millstone has always believed in the power of luck; golden blessings just seemed to follow her. But lately… not so much. Three months prior, Lucy graduated from Parson’s School of Design in Manhattan and is now desperately seeking an assistant’s position in the fashion industry, but months have gone by with no luck and no job. On top of that, Lucy’s boyfriend has dumped her for a guy. Now, that was on her, she should have seen the warning signs, but hey, she was still a bit green to the nuances of the dating world. Lucy nabs the job and dives into the romance, but eventually walks away from the toxic whip-lash relationship and the boss-from-hell. She eventually finds herself in Martinique, surrounded by the calming waters of the Carribbean, but has to survive a few more life altering obstacles before tenacious Lucy discovers the romance, community, and career she’s seeking.
