After Gino Austin's father died, he and his mom moved to South Carolina to be near her family. Fourth grade at a brand new school would be easy for some. But, not for Gino. Math is hard. So is spelling. But science isn't so bad. If only Rudy would just leave him alone.

CHAPTER ONE:
"Mrs. Allyn's classroom was on the second floor-one of two 4th grade classrooms at Fox Elementary in Deerfield, South Carolina. About the Author:
Denise A. Lynch is a children's book author living on beautiful Lake Murray in South Carolina with her husband and two miniature schnauzers. Before retiring, she worked as a middle school reading and language arts teacher in Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania. When she is not busy writing, she enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren. She also volunteers at the Carolina Wildlife Center and as a docent at the South Carolina State Museum. Denise is a member of the South Carolina Writer's Association and is also the author of the children's book PB&J.
