I really love this cookbook, this will go into my regular rotation! I particularly liked the ravioli lasagna, as well as the late night brownies. Would definitely recommend this!

Lots of easy to make recipes and they all look very good. Not every recipe have photo and they aren't really 5 ingredients if you count water and seasonings. Overall very nice and I would recommend it. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review

The "I Love My Instant Pot®" 5-Ingredient Recipe Book by Michelle Fagone is filled with delicious looking Instant Pot recipes. I do not own an Instant Pot, but a Ninja Foodi, and the recipes convert easily. I like the categories chosen for the recipe collections, there is even a vegetarian section. It is easy to know exactly which section you want to choose. Each recipe has serving size, hands-on time, cooking time, a pantry staples list, and nutritional information. It could be clearer that the Pantry Staples are excluded from the 5 ingredient list. I have already made the hard “boiled” eggs and the tomato basil soup. All in all, this is a cookbook I will be using often!

This cookbook has the usual " what this button does " chapter, and the review of functions ( sautés, yogurt, pressure and so on ), also a list of some accessories you might want to have.
What this book has is recipes you ACTUALLY make in the Instant Pot. So many cookbooks have the instant pot recipes finish in the oven or have you cooking other ingredients on the stove top and then adding to the finished instant pot food.
It also sports recipes for Breakfast, lunch, dinner, appetizers, desserts and soup..
and actual recipes you could make like cheeseburger macaroni, meatballs, cheese dips and so much more,
AND they really are five ingredients...
I think you will like this one

Every new Instant Pot owner needs this cookbook! Not only full of mouthwatering, simple recipes, The "I Love My Instant Pot®" 5-Ingredient Recipe Book” is a informational, easy to understand guide to using the Instant Pot.

The “Cooking with an Instant Pot” section is much more detailed than the instructions that come packed with the appliance. Author Michelle Fagone explains the function buttons so that every user can understand. She describes the main use of each button and also provides timing variations. If you are new to Instant Pot cooking, you’ll feel so much more confident after you read this section. She also lists the accessories you’ll need and the kitchen staples you should have on hand. Now come the recipes!

Organized by meal type for easy reference, the cookbook begins with Breakfasts.Who knew you can hard boil eggs in six minutes? I do now! And a crustless quiche in under 20 minutes? My favorites in the Soups, Stews and Chili section are the chicken, and vegetable broths. In 40 minutes (only 10 for preparation), you’ll have broth ready to be frozen for future use. The real power of the Instant Pot is shown in the section on Beans, Rice and Grains. Spiced Lentils in less than 15 minutes? What a healthy addition to any meal! And the best news - you no longer have to soak dried beans overnight! Quick to prepare main dishes, desserts and appetizers and more complete this must have cookbook. 5 stars!

Thank you to NetGalley, Adams Media and Michelle Fagone for this ARC.

This is a fantastic Instant Pot cookbook. It has useful information on the functionality of the unit and explains each function in detail. This is helpful because I believe the Instant Pot can initially be a little intimidating. Many people remember the old version of pressure cooking and can be a little nervous when tackling this for the first time. The details contained in this book remove a great deal of the mystery surrounding Instant Pot cooking and make it more appealing.

In addition to the technical information included within, there are many, many easy recipes to follow. There are a variety of options and they include minimal ingredients, as indicated by the title. After reviewing this book, it is hard for me to pick out the recipes that appealed the most because I found so many of them to be appealing. I look forward to cooking a great deal from this cookbook.

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC. I voluntarily chose to review it and the opinions contained within are my own.

The "I Love My Instant Pot" 5 Ingredient Recipe Book is a great book for both new and experienced Instant Pot users. There are recipes for Beef, Chicken, and Pork, but also Vegetarian, Breakfast, and Soups/Stew recipes. The book even includes recipes for Appetizers and Desserts. I've been using my Instant Pot for five years, but I still found many recipes I haven't tried before. Among them are the Cajun Red Beans, Jalapeno Popper Potato Salad, Loaded Broccoli, Steamed Asparagus with Lemon Aioli, Pork Eggroll in a Bowl, Baja Fish Street Tacos, and Sweet Potato Chili,

The dessert recipes that caught my eye are Banana Bread Pudding, Simple Lemon Cheesecake, Blueberry-Orange Quick Jam, and Peachy Crisp.

For new Instant Pot users, there is a chapter on Using your Instant Pot.

This is a good collection of Instant Pot recipes with helpful hints for new users.

I received a free copy of this book from the publishers via Netgalley. My review is voluntary.

A great starter book for a new instant pot user.  Filled with great recipes and nutritional information; I also liked the refresher for “what these buttons” do for the Instant Pot; I especially like the 5 ingredients or less aspect of the recipes. There are limited photos but good information

I requested and received a temporary digital Advance Reader Copy of this book from NetGalley, the publisher and the author in exchange for an honest review.

I like that the ingredients are simple, and do not rely on solely on garlic and onions to make the recipe work. Many people who are allergic to these FODMAPS will appreciate that they are left out in many dishes. I found the recipes easy to follow for all levels of cooks. The tips and tricks in the beginning of the book, as well as in the recipes themselves where great, and will make anyone comfortable with using their IP. I do feel that some ingredients, like lamb, are very specific to a taste, availability and budget and substitutions could be offered.

I did not like that additional components were necessary to use in conjunction with the IP, such as the silicon baking cups and glass bowls, for some dishes. However, I can see the usefulness of them in the recipes.

There are lots of dishes for each section for all tastes. I especially like the steamed artichokes, the acorn squash, and the mustard greens recipes, which are not normally featured and often harder to cook in traditional methods.

I decided to make the Lemon Butter Chicken with Fingerling Potatoes on page 128. The recipe read easily enough, however, the prep and cook times were off. It says hands on, 5 minutes. By the time I prepped the chicken, chopped the onion and halved 2 pounds of potatoes, it was at least 10 to 15 minutes. The cook time was off as well, with the recipe stating 10 minutes. I am not sure if the author means just the time it cooks in the IP but, even in the instructions it states 10 minutes to cook and 10 minutes natural release. Then, add in the time to get the pressure up, and I was at 30 minutes, leaving me around 45-50 minutes from start to finish. The recipe does not state high or low pressure, which would be nice to include as well. In the end, the dish did not knock my socks off (not really tasting the butter because it melted in the stock), but it was good but I feel it could have cooked it in the oven in the same amount of time.

In conclusion, if you like to cook in your Instant Pot for most dishes, or want to learn how to use your Instant Pot for more dishes, this is a great starter book for you. Thank you for the opportunity to review this cookbook.

First off, I appreciate that this cookbook contains nutritional information for every recipe. It also has a nice variety of recipes that are likely to please a lot of types of cooks. There are some that just purchased ingredients like mixes and others that are truly simple yet from-scratch. There are also a fair number that will work for folks who are vegetarian, low-carb, gluten free, etc. Photos are provided for some recipes but not a lot (maybe 1/4 or fewer?). The instructions are simple and easy to follow. I'm looking forward to trying many of them.

I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for review.

I got an instant pot type appliance as a gift and had no idea what to do with it. The instructions that came with my pot only showed how to clean it and what the buttons are for. I learned so much about how to use my pot and found recipes to meals I had no idea I could make in my pot. So far we love the egg roll pork bowls and found out that roasts and pulled pork take less than an hour to make. Next I will be making one of the cheesecakes.

This cookbook is very easy to use. It gives lots of details on using the function buttons to make everything easier to use. The recipes are simple, most are made of ingredients that you already have, and is listed by category. Will be using it soon

I have had an Instant Pot for a year. I have not been adventurous with it, because I have a set list of recipes my husband will eat, four of those are in the Instant Pot. This book has been a game changer. Many of these recipes are ones my husband eats but I have never thought of trying them in the pressure cooker until now.

This book has inspired me to get some of the accessories, like the egg bites mold, so I can try even more. I highly recommend the salsa rice, white chicken chili, Italian beef sandwiches, cheeseburger macaroni, twice baked potatoes, BBQ ribs, and rotisserie chicken to name just a few.

If you are new to the Instant Pot this cookbook is a must purchase.

I'm doing something I have never done before, I'm promoting a book before it is published. Not just on the day before, but actually a few weeks before! I love my Instant Pot, so much so I bought my youngest daughter one for Christmas along with several accessories. This book is fabulous. I've already started making some of the recipes from it for things I've never tried before. One of the things I enjoy about this book is that the recipes use some of the accessories. The author went beyond what you could make in the insert pot and used egg bites, silicon muffin cups, baking dishes. Things like that truly lift this above the others!

The Instant Pot is one of my favorite kitchen tools. I use mine multiple times a week. A 5 ingredient cookbook for Instant Pot is an amazing idea. It even further helps secure the spot of fast way to cook for busy people. There are so many good recipes in here. It is mostly basic meals but all of them are things I would eat. This is an excellent cookbook for busy families looking to cut down on eating out.

The "I Love My Instant Pot®" 5-Ingredient Recipe Book is a new addition to the popular Instant Pot series - this one by Michelle Fagone. Due out 9th Feb 2021 from Simon & Schuster on their Adams Media imprint, it's 240 pages and will be available in paperback and ebook formats.

Electric pressure cookers have changed the face of home cooking, and they're more popular than ever, with more programmable options and different volume capacities and cooking programs. I admit that I love the convenience factor for myself and that you can add ingredients and come back to well cooked, tasty food that isn't overcooked or mushy. Especially with vegetables, overcooking destroys a lot of the nutritive value, so cooking more quickly is a definite benefit. This cookbook has one huge benefit for me, it's convenient. None of the recipes require more than 5 main ingredients (not counting spices and seasonings). At the end of a busy day of work, it's so great to be able to (mostly) pop ingredients into the cooker, program it, and come back to dinner.

The book's logical and appealing layout mean that recipes are easy to find by category. The introductory chapter ~17% of the content) covers some background, how to cook with an electric pressure cooker (it's much MUCH easier and safer than people think), an FAQ on pressure cooking, a little bit about protein and ingredients, and other general info.

The main recipes are grouped by category: breakfast, soups stews & chili, beans rice & grains, appetizers, side dishes, chicken mains, beef & pork mains, seafood & fish mains, vegetarian mains, and desserts. US/metric conversion chart and a cross referenced index are included at the back of the book.

Each recipe includes serving yields, special notes, and prep times. Recipe ingredients are listed bullet point style along with optional ingredients. All measurements are given in American standard measures only. The directions are given step by step, numbered sequentially. The nutritional information is given in a footer under the recipes and includes calories, fat, protein, sodium, carbs, net carbs, sugar, and fiber.

The recipes' ingredients are easily sourced and the resultant dishes are family friendly and appealing to kids and adults. Roughly 20-25% of the recipes include photos. Everything is well done and I heartily recommend the book overall. There are a number of these recipes which have made it into my personal potluck recipe book of dishes to take to group dinners and family gatherings.

Good recipes, full of hearty and satisfying food.

Four and a half stars. I would recommend it for busy cooks who are looking to increase their use of the instant pot in their own daily cooking. The book does rely heavily on pre-made seasoning mixes and ready-made ingredients (premade salsa in a jar for example). All of the recipes can be converted (with some effort) to avoid premade and convenience mixes/seasonings.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

I have been using the recipes in this book for a while now. I have settled on a few recipes especially the breakfast one - my favourite is the egg bites and muffins which I can freeze. I have tried recipes that I would never have thought of

On the positives - the recipes are easy to use and limited ingredients (hence the name)

The negatives - would love to see more pictures - pictures inspire me and give me the confidence to try it out.

Good book and easy to follow, just more pictures please

I was given an advance copy by the publisher in exchange for an honest and fair review which I have done.

If you are like me and have been scared to use your instant pot, this is the cookbook for you. I have had two (yes you read that right two) Instant pots for a few years and I used one once. The great thing about this cookbook is the recipes are not complicated. There aren’t a lot of steps or ingredients. It takes the intimidation out of a pressure cooker. The only is I wish there were more and better pictures. Still this is a great cookbook. I look forward to making a lot of the recipes and finally getting use out of my two instant pots!

Nice book with a lot of Instant Pot recipes, each made with a limited number of ingredients. After an intro and a chapter on Instant Pot Cooking, recipes are in chapters on Breakfast, Soups/Stews/Chilis, Beans/Rice/Grains, Appetizers, Side Dishes, Chicken Main Dishes, Beef and Pork Main Dishes, Seafood and Fish Main Dishes, Vegetarian Main Dishes, and Desserts.
The recipes covered a wide variety of ingredients and flavor profiles. Instructions were thorough, and each recipe also included nutritional info. There were some color photos but I would have preferred more. I found the recipes in here to be more interesting - it wasn't just for standard basics. I think the book would be useful both for someone beginning with Instant Pot cooking and for someone who has experience but is looking for new ideas.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I would not include "The "I Love My Instant Pot 5-Ingredient Recipe Book" in a classroom. However, what a wonderful starting place for people who are first using their Instant Pots and/or learning how to cook. A wide array of recipes with easy to find ingredients makes this simple. The recipes The front section discussing needs for an Instant Pot and explaining how to use it was well done.

I'm new to cooking with an instant pot but the book makes me so excited. Even without having tried the exact recipes(which look yum!), I feel like the book fine tuned my instincts for the Instant Pot and opened my eyes up to the versatility of it, which is a win for any specialized cookbook in my opinion.

Would've liked some more one pot recipes, personally- my only real qualm about the book.

The "I Love My Instant Pot" 5-Ingredient Recipe Book by Michelle Fagone is a great resource for beginner cooks and Instant Pot novices. The user-friendly instructions and limited, easy-to-find ingredients make cooking from this book a breeze. I tried two recipes from each section, and my family enjoyed them all. I really liked the format and photos too. There is an ingredient box, quality photos of some recipes, simple instructions, and nutritional information. My only suggestions would be to include more photos!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

It can be difficult to find good cookbooks for Instant Pot, but this is a great volume. Not only does it have good recipes, it also provides a lot of great information about how to properly use and care for your Instant Pot. This is a solid choice for someone who's looking to get started with their Instant Pot or if they're just looking for new recipes to use with it.

The Instant Pot® craze doesn’t seem to be waning, and even though Instant Pots® save time, The "I Love My Instant Pot®" 5-Ingredient Recipe Book: From Pot Roast, Potatoes, and Gravy to Simple Lemon Cheesecake, 175 Quick and Easy Recipes makes cooking in your Instant Pot® even faster and easier. It is generally a no-brainer to assemble five ingredients for dinner, so this excellent cookbook will help you save even more time, as well as give you great recipe ideas.

This cookbook includes recipes for appetizers, breakfasts, meats, poultry, seafood, salads, soups, and even desserts. Most of the recipes are quick to put together, and most are fairly quick to cook. One of the things Fagone emphasizes is that dry beans don’t have to be soaked overnight, and the recipes using them in the Instant Pot take a bit more time to cook. However, as is usual, the cooking process doesn’t need to be monitored, so busy cooks can go about their business while their dishes are cooking. There are several dishes in the book including dry beans and other things that need long cooking like grits; they come out perfectly in the Instant Pot®.

While the main cooking is done in the Instant Pot® for many of the dishes, the final prep is done in the oven, broiler, or other means, and in some salads, the refrigerator. There are all-purpose recipes that will appeal to everyone, and so far every recipe I’ve tried has turned out well. The only drawback to this cookbook is the sad lack of photographs. While there are a few, and they are nice, there aren’t as many as there should be. In this modern day, photographs are easy to publish, and they should be included in all cookbooks.

All told, this is an excellent Instant Pot® cookbook, and everyone who likes to use their Instant Pot® and also save time will appreciate the recipes. This is a good one.

Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to read this advance copy. I recently got an Instant Pot, and learning to use it can be intimidating. I appreciated the first chapter about learning how to use it quite a bit. So many of the recipes sound amazing. I like that some seem like really unique recipes and some are traditional favorite recipes reworked for the Instant Pot.

I'm a relative new comer to the instant pot and this book is both a great intro to the gadget but also an inspiring cook book. It gives a really useful overview of the IPs functions in an easy to understand format which makes it very beginner friendly.

Moving onto the recipes, the book is structured into logical sections such as breakfast, soups, chicken etc. During lockdown i've been particularly uninspired around cooking and this book really helped me. There are lots of very inspiring ideas and recipes that are easy to follow and very well written and developed. Unlike many cookbooks, i haven't had a dud recipe from this book. Particular favourites have been the soups, there are some delicious chicken dishes and the vegetable ideas have been very inspired. So far i have cooked at least ten recipes from the book and i have many more bookmarked. T

My thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for an ARC of this cookbook in exchange for an honest review.

I really needed this concise, easy to understand Instand Pot cookbook: apart from a few chicken stews and roast beef dishes, my instant pot was not getting much use..

The introduction contains simple to follow instructions on how to use your Instant Pot safely. Releasing the pressure completely is key. (One tip I learned: the trick to cooking desserts in the instant pot is to thoroughly clean and air out the sealer - or purchase a separate one and switch them out for the required purpose. That way, your desserts don't taste like the roast you just cooked the night before!)

In the I Love My Instant Pot" 5-ingredient Recipe book, Michelle Fagone provides you with a huge range of dishes to choose from. Here is a quick sampling from each section: rotisserie chicken, Sloppy Joes, BBQ pork ribs, ground beef bulgogi halibut in lemon and caper sauce, milk boiled corn on the cob, and melt in your mouth meatballs. The mashed sweet potatoes (as well as the recipe with carrots) looks and sounds tasty.. The potato bacon soup is something I will definitely try, because I love soup on a cold winter's night. The picture of the take out style beef and broccoli looked mouthwatering. There is a very easy rice pudding recipe that I might try, along with the pumpkin muffins.

All of the recipes look easy to make and will take you no time at all once you've assembled the ingredients and followed the simple instructions. I prefer lots of pictures in a cookbook, but there were still plenty of them here to satisfy my hungry eye! I suspect i will be getting more use out of my Instant Pot!!!
Highly recommended: a 4 out of 5 star rating.

I Love My Instant Pot 5-Ingredient Recipe Book by Michelle Fagone is good recipe book with a variety of recipes that are easy to follow and accessible ingredients. I tried 4 recipes.

The easiest and simple recipe was the Amish Inspired Egg Noodles. Super easy and tasty. Do I really need an instant pot for this? No but still tasty.

Sausage and Sweet Potato Hash was easy, tasty and customizable.

Bacon Cheddar Scrambled Egg Muffins were good and she even mentioned freezable. Thank you for telling me that. This makes the cook book go up in my estimation.

Chocolate Cherry Soda Pop cupcakes were easy and a hit or miss on actually turning out. Cherry Pepsi worked, Dr. Pepper did not. Mine were undercooked but who doesn’t love a gooey cupcake.

For criticism just be aware 5 ingredients is fudging the line a little. Staple items are not part of the 5-Ingredients. Overall this was a great cookbook if you have no idea what to do with your pressure cooker. She gives tips and talks about alterations.

5 Stars because easy customizable recipes with a variety of things to try. I did four and I will try more. Thank you to NetGalley, Adams Media and Michele Fagone for an ARC. This was an honest review.

I really liked this cookbook and found lots of great recipes that I am definitely going to try. I really love how this is simple and doesn't throw in too much extra stuff on every page that's not needed. However, I do wish that each recipe had a picture. There's enough space at the bottom of some recipes to add a picture.

The "I Love My Instant Pot®" 5-Ingredient Recipe Book is a practical, helpful cookbook filled with easy recipes for many occasions. The book starts with several informative sections, explaining all the basics of using an Instant Pot; for example, it describes the functions, buttons, cleaning, possible accessories, and terminology needed to get started with your Instant Pot.

Then, the fun begins when we jump into the recipes, each boasting five or fewer ingredients, short hands-on time, and quick cook times. From breakfast ideas to apps and sides, entrees to desserts, every meal and course are included. Added perks throughout the book are fun tips like recipe modification, optional add-ins, and even quick lessons on things like salted vs unsalted butter. Some recipes have images included, and all recipes include number of servings and nutritional information.

Reading through the book, I found myself thinking "I could make this" and "My family would eat that" quite often, a sure sign that this recipe book is easy enough for the Instant Pot novice but diverse enough to please a variety of palates. I will be returning to several bookmarked recipes very soon.

As most of us know, the Instant Pot can save money and time while providing our families with nutritious meals every night of the week. The problem??/ How to turn family favorite recipes into Instant Pot recipes and how many new recipes can we fit into the meal rotation? This cookbook solves both questions easily. Using clear, easy to follow recipes that use everyday pantry items, my family has worked their way through this entire cook book. We are now working through them again to judge our favorites. Do yourself, or someone you know, a favor and get a copy of this book!

This cookbook is fantastic I have enjoyed tge wide variety of recipes to try. The recipes are all very easy to make and the ones I have trued tasted great.

That said, most of the recipes have more than 5 ingredients but I feel the author isn't counting things like spices , butter, basic pantry stapled or water. To be honest it doesn't bother me a bit and I find it a refreshing and creative way to produce easy and delicious food.

I received this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

This is a great introduction to Instant Pot cooking if you are a beginner. Instant Pots can be very intimidating, but once you get the hang of it you will find yourself using it every day! I love how simple and basic all the recipes are. Having few ingredients helps keep the cost down. I love how there are tips to add extra ingredients if you want to jazz it up a bit. I think this cookbook is meant for beginner IP users.

I’m an Instant Pot Lover and this is a GREAT Instant Pot Cookbook!! 175 Easy to make mouth-watering recipes!!

This Instant Pot book is good for both beginners and advanced Instant Pot users! For the beginners, it gives directions on how to use the Instant Pot and will ease any fear you may have. Once you get the hang of it, you won’t want to cook any other way! I use mine every day during the week!!

I loved the fact that every recipe in the book has only 5-ingredients. This really comes in handy on those busy work days where you don’t really feel like cooking, but still need to provide a balanced meal for your family.

The book includes straight-forward recipes for breakfast, soups, stews, and chili, chicken main dishes, vegetarian main dishes, desserts, among others. I was thrilled with the vegetarian section because most Instant Pot cookbooks I have come across don’t include much vegan. Even though I’m not vegan, I try to incorporate as many vegetables into my menu as I can. This makes it easy to stay healthy! You will, most likely, have everything you need to make the recipes on hand. The directions are easy to follow and there are pictures for some of the recipes, but I wish there would have been more, just a personal preference.

I tried a few recipes so that I could honestly review the book which included, Creamy Pesto Chicken, Italian Sloppy Joe’s, Black Bean Slider Patties and Tex-Mex Quinoa. They were super simple and fast to make. All the ones I tried tasted good and I saw many others I am interested in making! This cookbook will be a regular go-to for me and would be for any Instant Pot Lover!!

After reading about the author, Michelle Fagone, I found that she has a whole line of cookbooks and a website, if you want to check them out!! I know I will be! http://www.cavegirlcuisine.com/

I have been intimidated by my insta-pot since I received as a gift two years ago. I have to say that this book gives great and clear instructions. The recipes are wonderfully tempting. There are many recipes for risotto, which I had never thought about making in my insta-pot. The cheesy chicken verde sounds wonderful, as does the pot roast recipe. There quite a few yummy recipes for breakfast too.

After a long, hard day at work, you come in and need dinner on the table by 5... you’re in luck! With just FIVE ingredients in any of the 175 recipes included dinner is done in a snap.

Accommodating beginner to pro, this five ingredient recipe book allows for step by step directions to dinner perfection. I have tried several of the recipes and can say not only were they easy and tasty, they were economically friendly, and who DOESN’T need that in our current days.

Highly recommend for those interested in trying this quick way of cooking as well as to the seasoned pro.

Rating 4

I bought my Instant Pot back in December and I have been trying out new recipes ever since. I chose this book because of the 5 ingredient promise as stated in the title. It is true majority of the recipes only use five ingredients however, some items are not considered an ingredient such as spices or broths. So those items will need to be added on top of the five limit which I was fine with. For still being a beginner I found almost all of these recipes to be doable. I have already made ten recipes and all of them came out great and my favorites were the chocolate chip cheesecake and the jalapeno popper potato salad. The directions are easy to follow and very straight forward. The book contains a wide range of recipes and with such a variety it won't leave you disappointed. I recommend for beginners or if you just want some hassle free meals.

Everybody seems to be using an instant pot nowadays! So of course a cookbook detailing some of the utilizations and recipes that work best for this tool.

What this cookbook offers: the beginning of the book is an overview of the instant pot (buttons, functions, cooking methods, accessories, cleaning/functioning guide). The food: 1) breakfast; 2) soups, stews, and chili, 3) beans, rice, and grains; 4) appetizers; 5) side dishes; 6) chicken main dishes; 7) beef and pork; 8) seafood and dish; 9) vegetarian dishes; 10) desserts.

There is a lot offered. The recipes are pretty simple, but their value is teaching you how they can be cooked in the instant pot obviously! So, at the end of the day, I think this would be something that would be helpful for someone who got this instant pot and wants to use it by thinking outside of the box! A bunch of ideas are helpful when you get new equipment.

A great book with lots of ideas for quick and easy meals prepared in the Instant Pot. I have tried a few recipes and they have all turned out great. My favorite the Sausage and Sweet Potato Hash is in my opinion worth the purchase price alone, so good.

I’m not going to lie, my success and satisfaction with my Instant Pot has been pretty mixed so far. At first, I was scared of it and made it much more complicated than it really was. Then, once I had a produced a few good meals (soups, ribs, a random stir fry) I was on board. That’s not to say that I don’t still find myself with a lackluster end result here and there (😬). I still would never make hard boiled eggs any other way.

This cookbook appealed to me because it’s the real deal. It has a foolproof complete set of instructions for each product. It has solid recipes that range from a bit more elegant to the staple meals most families would see on their tables. But the best thing is that the ingredients are pretty much pantry staples and there 5 of them.

This book also will walk you through the basics of how to use the Instant Pot making it a great beginner cookbook. It also suggests pantry staples and accessories for cooking convenience. I have made 4 recipes so far and each one has been well received! I definitely recommend this cookbook. I just wish it had more pictures (personal preference for my cookbooks).

The "I Love My Instant Pot" 5-Ingredient Recipe Book by
Michelle Fagone

I received an Instant Pot as a gift and have been fumbling with recipes and instructions ever since. With its tutorial section, this cookbook is helpful for a beginning Instant Pot user. Like me!

It contains plenty of photographs to accompany the basic recipes in the book. The 5-ingredient title is a bit of a misnomer, as many of the dishes also use several additional "pantry staples." The dishes are still simple and require items most cooks will have on hand.

I look forward to experimenting with the cookbook and mastering–finally!—my Instant Pot.

This book is great for a beginner in the Instant Pot world as it explains how to use it and how you will get best results.
It is not only for beginners though it has some nice recipes with only 5 ingredients! How great is that?
No trawling the supermarkets looking for loads of different ingredients.
It is American so some of the recipes aren’t necessarily the recipes we see here. I wouldn’t say I will make them all. But overall I would say it’s worth a read.

An Instant Pot can be an intimidating appliance for new owners. This cookbook breaks down the basics of cooking with your appliance, and the five-ingredient recipes make it easy to get started. From peanut butter and banana oatmeal to tomato basil soup, there's something here for every appetite. I would have liked more pictures (I prefer a cookbook with a photo for every recipe), but this is an approachable introduction to the Instant Pot.

This is a superb and simple Instant Pot cookbook. There are tons of recipe categories including the usually neglected sides and appetizers. Main dishes split by protein type which I loved for easy recipe finding.

With only 5 ingredients, excluding salt, pepper and a fat, the recipes are easier than most other books. My only critique is the lack of pictures at about 20% of the recipes.

Thank you Adam's Media and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I gotta be honest, I am not the best cook, but the introduction of the instant pot and the air fryer have helped me up my game. That being said the instant pot can be a little intimidating so a book like this is just what I needed to help me actually use it. There are some really yummy and unique recipes in here like the Moroccan Inspired Chicken Thighs. My only comment is that its called a 5 Ingredient Recipe book and most of the recipes have a little more than 5 ingredients, although still minimal! Great book!
