This book is a must for everyone specially for girls (yes, I can be biased as I feel girls will enjoy this book more! Yes, boys you will enjoy this book too.).

I can totally relate with the different kinds of mums as I can see the same in real. Outdoorsy, the coach, the cheerleader, the homebody, the chatty, the trendy, the practical one, the online lover, the boss, the zen one, the sporty one, and lots more. Now we get the idea what the book's basically about.

The book also tells how moms are celebrated in different countries. However, I feel it's too less and more should have been mentioned.

The illustrations worked really well!

Thank you authors and the publisher for the advance reading copy.

This little book is super cute and would make a great gift for mother’s day or a new mom at the baby shower. There is not much to it, but it’s sweet and might make a mom out there smile. It looks at all the great things moms do. I liked the page's that had facts about moms in different countries or traditions that families have when a baby arrives, it was interesting to learn. Plus, a number of different types of moms you could be, with a little summary and facts about each, kind of like a personality test. It's just a little something sweet that says you're great no matter what type of mom you are and we love you. I received this ebook, via Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review.

How to spot a Mom is a fun and funny, quirky book for children that had me giggling and nodding in agreement all the way through.
This book is like an animal book where it tells you what to look for in a mum to recognise them and identify what type they are such as the artsy one, the rebel one, the homebody, the outdoorsy one, the cheerleader and so on.
The illustrations are really lovely and very befitting with the book.
I love this and know my daughter will agree with lots of these traits in different Moms we know.
You could have so much fun with this book such as people spotting the types of Moms in the book at a local park or matching the Moms to friends Mums etc.
I liked the two page spread with the map which told the child about different parts of the world and what Moms do to celebrate things traditional to their culture.
Give this book a go - its so much fun!

A wonderful celebration of some of the many kinds of moms all around the world, packed with informative, playful illustrations.

A sweet pictorial glance at all the roles a mom can take. This offers a creative take on all the gifts and talents that moms possess, in addition to all the personality types. No two moms are exactly alike, even though there are many similarities, regardless of culture. Would make a fun gift for any mom to celebrate Mother’s Day.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and all opinions expressed are my own, freely given.

This book is so cute! The artwork is fabulous and helps tell the great story of all types of Moms. The descriptions were realistic and relatable. As a Mom, I found myself thinking about times when I can be the different types of moms that were described in the book. I also thought back to my childhood and how I remember specific experiences with my Mom. What a fun book! This would be a cute gift for expecting Moms and new families!

The illustrations in this book are lovely and captivating. I loved the divisibility of the moms shown, not only in personality, but in terms of ability and race. This would make a great gift for a new mom, and especially fun to display as a coffee table book. I loved reading through it.

I really enjoyed this guide, and I really feel like it captures what it means to be a mom in a good way! I love the diversity of characters, and how cute the art style is. It is such a mom-positive book and that is so nice to see! Could definitely see myself having this on my shelves!

This is a fun, humorous and very giftable book for moms. Mothers everywhere are sure to relate and enjoy looking through it.
Many thanks to Wide Eyed Editions and NetGalley for the advance copy.

Designed as a book for youngsters, I view it also as validation for all mothers regardless of their style of self and parenting. Besides, it's well illustrated and witty. I think that it's worth the cost even if the only nonstandard mom is depicted in a wheelchair. Although there is no particular color scheme in skin or attire, the format is similar to a wildlife or birding guide. I enjoyed it and recognized quite a few of my friends!
I requested and received a free temporary ebook from Quarto Publishing Group – Wide Eyed Editions via NetGalley. Thank you!

This book is so fun! It would make an adorable Mother's Day gift! The spotter's guide is broken down into 16 different types of moms, complete with natural habitats, likes/dislikes and tips for spotting each type of mom. I can see myself as a combo Organized/Homebody mom, and proud of it! I also loved the section on "Moms Around the World," and though this is a funny children's book, I learned things about different cultures as well!

Mom!

This beautiful book describes moms all around the world.
Moms come in different shapes and forms and this is a slightly humorous take on how you can identify a mom.

The illustrations are gorgeous.

The books covers the multitasking abilities of moms, how they can be personality wise, what they like, what they do, how they behave etc.

Finally it emphasizes the fact that there is no one size fits all and each mom is so unique.

The book totally made me miss my mom!

The cover is awesome. I love the gold foil look of the text.

The book is fun and a quick read. A great break from the longer darker books I've been reading lately. haha.

I'll definitely be looking out for other work by this author.

Such a cute book that would be a great gift for new moms or all moms really. The best part are the illustrations that are all-inclusive and showcase various types of moms.

My favorite part was the section about moms from all around the world and I would have loved it to be a bigger part of the book with more countries and additional information. I also loved how most moms can be a combination of the types mentioned in the book depending on the occasion.

I removed one star because I thought the book didn't have a clear target audience. Some parts were written for the mom and some part for the kids, which made the tone of the book a bit confusing. Other than that, I'd definitely buy this as a baby shower gift to help the future mom crack a smile.

I would like to thank NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this ebook.

How to Spot a Mom by Donna Amey Bhatt is a delightful book for each and every child out there. This is such an inclusive book telling children that there are many kinds of mothers and that they come in all shapes and sizes, doing different jobs and different personalities but what unites them all is their love for their children.

As a mom, this book was fun. My kids had fun listening to this book and trying to guess which mom I am. (They eventually realized that most people are a combination of multiple). I brought this to one group of student's at school. Eventually I plan to do an activity, closer to Mother's Day, with this book and moms. Great amount of words and visuals--not overwhelming but visually pleasing. A great book I'll be buying for MY mom.

As a mom myself, How to Spot a Mom made me smile. A fun, random and unique book that I'm not sure if its a necessary book but who cares. I loved that I saw bits of myself in the different types of moms and felt they missed out in putting in a Jane - of - all trades mom because that's what I most identify as. Beautifully diverse and cute illustrations. Thank you to the publisher Quarto and NetGalley for my digital review copy,
