This is a really cute, short winter love story. I really liked the characters, Jada, Graham, and Tatum. The setting was so pleasant.
Jada heads out to spend the Christmas holidays alone after receiving devastating news. But she's not alone for long. After meeting divorced dad Graham and his daughter Tatum they form an instant friendship. This is a sweet book about taking chances and finding love.
Let Linda Carroll-Bradd whisk you off to Colorado for some resort romance in her latest novel, “Snowflake Cottage.”
Sprucewood, Colorado is home to the Holiday Cottages; magical places where hopes are renewed, relationships kindled and where dreams come true. For the next ten days, it’s home to Jada Beldane, too, as she’s left Wyoming in an attempt to refocus after her life-altering health diagnosis. Single dad, Graham Seaver and his 5 year old daughter, Tatum Fawn, are trying to avoid the tourists in town, but making deliveries to the Holiday Cottages means avoiding them completely is out of the question. When Tatum meets Jada at the park the first day, they instantly connect. Before long, Graham finds himself in an emergency and Jada is the first person he calls. Can they put their past behind them and enjoy the ten days together? Or will they let time and their past prevent them from happiness over the holidays?
Linda Carroll-Bradd has written a fantastic, heartwarming holiday romance. At only 8 chapters, it’s the kind of e-book you can pick up and read in one sitting. It’s not sickly sweet and it’s not hot and heavy, it’s just a very realistic romance between two people who are afraid to commit. The author’s plotline is well-paced and the characters are believable. Graham is a glassmith, so you’ll get to learn something about this interesting and highly skilled trade. Both characters confirm that taking a risk on love, no matter how long the commitment, is an enriching experience. This is book 7 of 12 novels in the Holiday Cottages Series. Not only do the cottages sound dreamy for a get away, the concept of a peek at 12 vacationers experiences when we are grounded due to a pandemic sounds like the perfect armchair vacation.
Thank you to Linda Carroll-Bradd, Backlit PR, and NetGalley for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
Lovely short story for a cosy afternoon read. Great characters in lovely setting, Perfect for winter.
I enjoyed reading this book. It had some good description of the area and a lovely storyline. The characters were interesting and l recommend that you read this book if you want an enjoyable book to read.
After a life-changing diagnosis, Jada seeks solace in a small town where she can come to terms with what her future held. However, she got much more than she bargained for. Can she let down her walls and accept what her heart desires?
I loved the author’s message that family is family. Whether they are adopted, married into, or blood related. More than once, this story pulled on my heartstrings. I just adored the characters and the setting. Each part of the story was fleshed out and kept me interested until the very last page. The story was relatable and emotional. Definitely a great read.
Very heartwarming and appealing. Not too long, novella length that's perfect for a quick afternoon read while in the midst of cookie baking. So wrap up in your soft blanket sip your hot tea and relax into this Christmassy read.
A woman gets a devastating report from her doctor that will affect her whole life. To get her mind off of it she takes an out of state vacation at the beautiful Snowflake Cottage. With the snow falling and the descriptions inside the cottage it really does sound like a place I'd love to stay as well!
To start the healing process she reads a book on how to start mentally healing and while doing the suggested thing meets the sweetest little girl. The little girl starts talking to her because children are uninhibited like that but you know some parents don't like you talking to their children.
So you meet the handsome divorced dad and he seems to just turn up everywhere in town that you are.
His daughter pulls you in too, she's so demanding but yet so cute that you just can't hold it against her. Only problem is while she is attracted to the single dad she doesn't feel worthy of him because of he medical diagnosis. Can he convince her it's her he wants despite her feelings of unworthiness?
Very charming, I would really love to read the other books in this series.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Jada decides to go to Colorado by herself after her friend could not make it. She just received a medical diagnosis that she is trying to forget Jada meets Graham who 8s a single father who is not interested in a relationship at this time. I enjoyed the chemistry between Jada and Graham.
A fairly good Christmas novella. Jada comes to stay in a cabin in the mountains, after learning she cannot have children. She runs into local single dad Graham, and his precocious 4 year old daughter Tatum. I like the way he talks with his daughter. I did like this one, and enjoyed the characters. Both had issues though, and both threw them aside too quickly. Typical of a novella though. Would recommend if you want a light and quick Christmas read.
This is a sweet clean romance that was a joy to read. It is well written with beautiful scenery and wonderful characters. You don't want to miss Jada and Graham's story, you will fall in love with Tatum, she is such an outspoken little sweetheart. Thank you Backlit PR via NetGalley for the complimentary copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.
VERY GOOD BOOK. I ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH. NOT TOO LONG. PERFECT FOR AN AFTERNOON OR EVENING READ WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN ESCAPE.
sweet romance. A bit to fast for a relationship but enjoyable for the holidays. Liked to have a cottage like that myself
A well written story. I enjoyed the plot and the characters. I received an advance ebook from the publisher and Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.
Another favorite by a New to me author. The plot of the story was very well written. The author really draws the reader in as you read. I felt like I was an unnamed character in the story.

Very enjoyable story about a single woman who heads to a holiday cottage after receiving a health diagnosis. She plans to relax and having time to think about the diagnosis she received. With a nice winter break and not thinking of Christmas but it doesn't go straight to plan when she meets a lovely little girl that she takes a shine to and her father. It is a lovely story that I thoroughly enjoyed. The characters and really likable.
