Description
Logan Bonnett returned home from a trip to Silverton to find his wife lying in the yard. She had been raped and beaten before she died. Near her hand was a drawing; a picture of a rattlesnake with seven rattles.
One rattle was separate from the other six with a line drawn from it, ending in a star and what appeared to be a letter B.
Determined to find the men and mete out gun justice to the killers, Logan rode a bitter trail but it was not without its reward for he found a lasting treasure.

Very good book - really correct and made you feel as though you were there. I would give this book my highest recommendation.
I received this arc for an honest review.
In this story you have a western where a wife is expecting her husband to come home from a trip, he made to a town for a claim they are making when they found a few chunks of gold on their property. Now cooking his favorite meal and wearing the dress she got married in she is excited to show him the gold rocks she found the other day and put in the can above the stove.
Her plan goes south first when a local cowboy shows up, he has been after her for a while now, after getting him to leave she is then surprised by a few more riders. Thinking that she got rid of them a couple split up from the others and go back. When logan gets back to his property he knows something is wrong. Seeing his wife and their cabin he knows what happen, he also knows that she put up a fight as well. He also sees that she crawled out and before she died, she drew him a picture of the men, all seven. After taking care of his wife, he goes after the men who did this to her and he gives them his justice. A really good story and if you are into westerns, I think anyone would really like this one.
