A Note From the Publisher

Laurie Elmquist holds an MA in Literature and creative writing from the University of Windsor in Ontario and has been published in several magazines and anthologies. She teaches creative writing at Camosun College in Victoria, British Columbia and online at the University of Calgary. She lives in Victoria, British Columbia.

Ashley Barron is a multimedia artist who is best known for her paper-collage work. She is the illustrator of almost a dozen children's books, including Love You Head to Toe and My Ocean is Blue. Ashley grew up in Oshawa and Whitby and studied illustration at the Ontario College of Art & Design. She lives in Toronto.
