Description

In Love’s Attraction readers will journey from the bucolic New England town of Concord to the backwater canals of Venice past and present. Michael Collins, a Washington political operative suddenly caught up in a bribery scandal that threatens his life and career, disguises himself as a Thoreau scholar in Concord, Massachusetts. While hiding in plain sight he finds himself investigating the tragic suicide of the love of his life, the winsome and talented artist, Sandra Palmer.

Distraught and struggling to come to terms with Sandra’s sad end, he stumbles on clues connecting their two families, including the friendship of his stonecutter grandfather from Venice with Sandra’s grandfather, the famous turn of the century American artist, Joseph Palmer. Intrigued by the missing links in their family histories, Michael is drawn deeper and deeper into the once glittering world of the Palmer clan especially the larger than life escapades of Angela Palmer, seventies radical and eighties porn star and internet entrepreneur, who disappeared around the same time as her twin sister’s suicide.

Love’s Attraction is a powerful commentary on love, obsession and redemption.
