Description

This bright, brilliant, and drily humorous new picture book is the perfect go-to guide for going Number Two.

Someone has done business where they’re not supposed to. But who was it?

Suspense builds as suspects are rhythmically, methodically eliminated. We know it wasn’t the baby (diaper), or Daddy (bathroom), or the lion at the zoo (too risky).

There’s a place for everything, and Shawn Harris’s snappy text and stylish, accessible art shine in this universal, hilarious, and perfectly paced picture book about the right place for bathroom business.

About the Author: Shawn Harris's first illustrated book, Her Right Foot by Dave Eggers, received seven starred reviews and was an Orbis Pictus Award Honor Book. Harris occasionally moonlights as singer/songwriter of the Matches.

Another Harris Hit! This one will fly off shelves. One of the many books about poo, or in this case business, that's came across my desk lately. The story is my favorite kind, simple but oh so funny and the art work as usually is perfect!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a free e-arc to review.
Ok, this is funny! I actually giggled a couple times reading through it. A potty in the vein of Everyone Poops, Doing Business is a funny, straightfoward book that covers the scariest part of potty training: pooping. Yep, it's a book all about Number Two. With colorful illustrations and simple language (although I could have done without the image of the lion literally "doing business", kids will think it's hilarious!), this book will be crazy popular with kids.

I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I bet most kids would be delighted reading this book, mine certainly is, she already read the book 3 times, and had a good time pointing at all the different poops by different creatures. Her favourite was the father sitting on the toilet looking at his phone, and the little fly also dropping a tiny poop in the air next to him.

Very funny book.

This bright picture book is such a fun and approachable addition to the poo books in our children's lives! Loved the simple color schemes on each page, the cartoonish illustrations, the simple yet bold text, and especially using BUISINESS in place of poo.

The subject that fascinates all children...

There's a POO on the carpet!! Who - or what - could be the culprit?

We are taken through the reasons why it's not the baby (nappy), or Daddy (seen hunched over his phone on the toilet, love it), then various animal poos are flashed up for us to see, which don't match the poo in question.

So who's poo is it? And where should it have gone?

Short, smart and rather educational, a very bright primary-coloured book about the unmentionables that are shown in lovely graphic glory.

Normalising our business, and making us laugh about it. Marvellous.

For all ages. Yep, all of them.

With thanks to Netgalley for providing a sample reading copy.
