Only Angels Gaze Toward Heaven

Born into humble beginnings, Jordan Del Cielo is given a second chance when his formerly absent father takes him to America. Growing up in California, his Christian faith compels him to use his talents to serve others. Yet, deep down, he is filled with self-doubt. Becoming a member of Doctors Without Borders, he only lacks one thing—a soul mate.

Saul Darthe, on the other hand, has only one goal—to rise to the top of the graft pyramid. Saul, a previous collegiate wrestling champion, becomes cynical and directs all his strength and passion into the pursuit of wealth and power. He couldn’t care less who he uses to get to the top.

Jordan eventually meets Miriam, the woman of his dreams. They are content but unable to conceive. Eventually, their near-perfect life comes crashing down after they become unknowingly involved in Darthe's plot to smuggle secret advanced technology.
