The Sixth Door of Happiness

Chien Marc is a beat cop in one of the toughest precincts in the city of Ji’an, nicknamed the Mígōng (the “Maze”). Half-Chinese and half-white, he's an outsider in his own world. One raw, rainy night Chien comes across the body of an old friend, with a beautiful young woman standing over it.
