An interesting book for reference and reading. I read it quickly, since I was going to refer to it later, again and again. I found out that we lose our confidence at a young age with drawing faces, and indeed I have found that to be the case. I enjoyed reading the book.

This is a fabulous book for anyone who wants to try their hand at portrait painting. Covering the basics of drawing faces, it has lots of tips and techniques for the beginner and more advanced artist alike. It is full of detailed explanations and diagrams and reading it as I sat with pencil and paper to hand in order to experiment was an absolute joy. Very therapeutic and highly recommended as a terrific guide and reference book for the budding artist. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
