NIFTY: Clean & Organized

This is well-organized, solid advice. There are general cleaning and organization tips, plus extra instruction for specific situations like small spaces, rental homes, etc. I was pleased to see some ideas and tips I'd never heard before, and it's always nice to find something new!

There were instructions for several DIY projects as well, mostly for small furniture items like entryway seating or a storage table. They seemed easy enough for an experienced beginner and used readily available supplies.

This would be a great read for people getting settled into their first home, but also for people looking to organize and spruce up their existing place.

NIFTY: Clean & Organized is an accessible and streamlined collection of decluttering and cleaning tips collected and curated by BuzzFeed's NIFTY. Due out 2nd Nov 2021 from Simon & Schuster on their Adams Media imprint, it's 208 pages and will be available in hardcover and ebook formats.

These short tips are arranged thematically by room: kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, workspace, garage & outdoors, and extra spaces. Some of them are self evident and basic, but there are also a lot of creative and usable tutorials here for space saving solutions and organization in every room. Graphic icons in the headers show which tips are particularly suited for DIYers, readers interested in money-saving ideas, and those which are good for small spaces.

The layout and graphics are clean and uncluttered. The book is peppered with clear color photos which are easy to understand (including the tutorials). This is a simple, practical, easy to use book. It would be a great choice for library acquisition, home library, maker's groups, or for folks newly living on their own as the tips are especially beginner friendly and require little in the way of exotic tools/supplies.

Nifty: Clean and Organized is a home organization and cleaning book. Full of tips, tricks and helpful advice. There are so many books like this on the market so any additions need to have something more. This one has some good upcycling projects and a few useful tips I haven't seen before. The writing style is good and the organisation in room order is convenient. There is general cleaning advice, some recipes and a bit of supplementary advice for specific situations. A good book for anyone looking to refresh or re style their home.

This was really useful and had some helpful hints. I like the way it was not preachy or required more expensive organising items.

A wonderful book on organizing your home and working spaces. I wish I could have the author help me in person. The book will have to do. I love how easy the instructions are as well as the photos of the finished product. Time to get organized.

I found this book very useful and loved reading it. I learnt so much from reading this book. I loved the fact you could easily read it in small manageable chunks if you have a spare few minutes in the day. The book has a superb lay out, very colourful sections and beautiful pictures accompanied each page. This makes it very easy to navigate through. Each section/room goes through cleaning tips , how to make your own cleaning products. How often to clean each room or upholstery. Also brilliant ideas how to de-clutter space and fantastic ideas how to use and create storage spaces for small rooms. There are brilliant ideas with step by step guides on how to create inexpensive furniture and other DIY ideas on making things with everyday objects or objects found in the house that you Don't use or want anymore. This book is wrote for the American audience however it is excellent for UK homes aswell as its just a few different names for things like Crown moldings which is coving to use. This really doesn't confuse a UK reader. Its very cheap to buy at only £12.99 and could help you create a stunning show home feel and save you a fortune. Also you could save a heap of money just making your own cleaning materials it also explains which materials/surfaces it can be used for . Who knew white toothpaste could get rid of tea and coffee stained cups. Everyone needs these simple lessons and hacks that could save you time,money, and create a stunning home environment with very little effort.

What a fantastic full service book that has decorating, organizing, and cleaning tips for every room in your house and more! From the kitchen to the bathroom to all the rooms in between this book had the best timeless tips. I read the ebook version, but this is definitely a book that I want my own physical copy and would be a great college or first home buying gift for others. The book had tips that were gender neutral and could work for all sorts of families that live in all sorts of types of homes - they felt universal.

I hope that they come out with more books with more tips and tricks for other areas of one's life!

Some decent tips for various rooms in the house, and some DIYs and saving hacks. Some multipurpose tips as well. Overall an easy and quick read to get you into it.

Oh mayn, this book is a gem that every household should have. Nifty : Clean and Organized is a well organised handy book with cleaning and organization tips . These tips were well explained and easy to follow. I absolutely how it also caters for small spaces as well as DIY ideas that were exciting that I cannot wait to try out.

According to the authors, there are two kinds of people: those who love to declutter and organise, and those who would rather do 'almost anything else'. Unfortunately, I belong to the latter category, but this book certainly helps. It is a must-buy for anyone who struggles to clean, declutter and organise their home!

The book includes practical cleaning tips, do-it-yourself projects, lots of ways to get rid of clutter and simple ideas for finding more storage space. Nifty provides a guide to cleaning, decluttering and organising each room to suit your own needs. All of the advice can be personalised! There are lots of cleaning 'recipes', and even suggestions to improve the look of each room. The attractive pictures and side-boxes with lists are wonderfully helpful and even inspirational.

Even if you absolutely hate cleaning and decluttering, this book will help you to make a new start.
