Description

Deck the ranch with romance…

Widower and single dad Alex Harvey is doing his best to run a ranch, care for his wheelchair-bound father, and raise three girls. But when his middle daughter writes a letter to Santa asking for a real family Christmas, he’s gut-punched. How can he make his daughter’s wish come true, when everything around him is falling apart?

Then beautiful and kind Juniper Marsh steps in, and vows to help. To Alex, Juniper was just the girl next door and his brother’s best friend. Now she’s a vibrant, joy-filled presence in his life. Alex never thought he had time to find love. But has love finally found him?

Juniper thought she’d outgrown her schoolgirl crush on Alex. But her attraction reignites the moment Alex walks into her boutique. He’s even sexier now than back in high school… A tall, lean, cowboy with a crooked smile and a smoldering stare.

Juniper’s determined to help Alex give his girls the perfect Christmas. But secretly, she’s hoping their kiss under the mistletoe will turn into something more. Can that Christmas magic make both their dreams come true?

The truth of the matter is she loves her fictional persona, Leslie North, more than her normal, day-to-day persona! Her bestselling books focus on strong characters and particularly women who aren't afraid to challenge an alpha male. Inspired after years of travel, her stories are set all over the world, from the tough streets of Russia to the beautiful beaches of the middle east.

Leslie fell in love with romance when she first picked up a scrappy, dog-eared romance book from her local library. She began writing soon after and the rest, as they say, was history. She now lives in a cozy cottage on the British coast and enjoys taking long walks with her two Dalmatians, George and Fergie.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
Wow this was such a touching book and I truly felt all the turmoil between Juniper and Alex.
A widow who is trying to find his way with family balance and a ranch on his own meets Juniper the woman who brings Joy to the ranch.
An endearing story and one you certainly don’t want to miss.

I LOVED this book! This came as an absolute surprise to me, because cowboy romance is not my jam… usually! But wow was this GOOD!
I loved the main characters and the development of their story together, loved that Alex (MMC) who is a widower always has his late wife in his thoughts-it all felt very believable. Major bonus points for: children who act like REAL children, being selfish, screaming loud, throwing tantrums and just essentially being children.
Yeah I just loved everyone and everything about this Book. I only wish there had been a little bit more steam and there was a crisis moment at the end that did not feel necessary for me, but all in all this is a fat YES for me as a Christmas romance. Definitely reading the other books in this series, too.

Rancher's Family Christmas, sent me on a roller coaster of emotions. Alex is missing his deceased wife and mother even more at Christmas time. So are his three girls. Juniper has missed her family for years and has longed to become part of one again. I really like the two of them together. This is a great Second chance at love and Christmas time story.

I am a massive fan of Leslie North and always enjoy her books because they’re light and enjoyable romances. I loved this one too especially since its set around Christmas time there was a sad tone to the book that tugs on your heartstrings. Fantastic read

I also enjoy reading books by Leslie North. This book did not disappoint. Alex is a widower raising 3 young daughters, running a ranch and taking a care of his grumpy wheel chair bound dad who he never seems to please. Juniper lost her parents at a young age and was sent to live with her aunt and uncle but was never shown much love and affection. She has had a school girl crush on Alex since she was young. His brother Will is her best friend. Alex's middle daughter writes a letter asking Santa for a real family Christmas. Alex contacts both his brothers asking them to come home for Christmas. He takes his daughters to an ornament decorating class at Juniper's craft shop and runs into Juniper. He hires her to help decorate for the holidays. I loved their story. His daughters were adorable and you could feel the struggle for the family to try to let go of the past in order to make a wonderful Christmas for the girls. Highly recommend.
