You NEED to read this book!!! Sometimes I say that a book grabbed me by the face and didn’t let go… This book grabbed my wrists, my throat, my face, and my hair! I can’t remember the last time I read a book in one sitting! I loved how there are little WTF moments dropped like bombs throughout the entire book until the final explosion at the end that I did NOT see coming! This was my most anticipated book of 2022 and I’ve never been so excited to get to read a book! I was nervous that it might not live up to my high expectations but it was even better than I thought it would be! I DEVOURED it in less than 5 hours! I loved some characters and I even loved the characters that I think we are meant to hate in the end. Hey, everyone is flawed, right??? Except Trevor. Oh my gosh I hated that guy. Every single character has a seriously jacked up secret and he is a wretched human being for blackmailing them! But really… is there a secret so bad that would be worth killing him to keep it hidden??? I loooooooved finding out each of the secrets as the dropped like bombs throughout the book! I’m so obsessed with Hendricks’ writing style and I’m already jonesing for her next book! I wish I could get amnesia and forget this entire book so I can read it again for the first time! I’m so jealous of you jerks who haven’t read it yet! 87 zillion flaming stars from me so I’m smashing that 5 star button over and over!!! If there’s one book you buy this year, THIS needs to be it!!!

WOWZA! What a WILD ride! In the first few pages of It Could Be Anyone, we are at a wedding where a groom tragically dies, with his killer happily watching. That is just the beginning of this roller coaster of a read. We follow a group of five close friends in this who done it style murder mystery, with a little blackmail mixed in. Each character has deep secrets, and bring us multiple points of view with each chapter. I loved hearing from each character, even though they were certifiable, and one in particular will make your skin crawl. I found myself picking my jaw up many times throughout this read , and I found it really hard to put down.
Hendricks writing style is addictive! I enjoyed Finding Tessa, but I LOVED It Could Be Anyone. This is a fast-paced, mind blowing murder mystery. I give it two thumbs up and five bright stars!

Oh, my…this is the kind of delicious beach read that is just so much fun.

I was seriously having my own homicidal thoughts about dear Trevor. I would not be surprised if someone heard me muttering “kill him” under my breath as I read.

As for our other characters, I loved most of them, though their secrets made me cringe. These were not…simple secrets.

This is a fast paced, enjoyable and extremely satisfying read. I loved this!

WOW this book!

It was such a fantastic read! I read It Could Be Anyone by Jaime Lynn Hendricks in record time, its one of those novels where you don’t want to put it down until the last page is read! It kept me completely glued to the pages and I loved how everything unfolded. I always love a story that’s set in an exotic location where any of the guests could be guilty of a crime- very Agatha Christie!

To anyone on their flight out of New York, they appear to be five best friends excited for a destination wedding in Miami. No one would guess that each of them has a reason to want the groom dead.

Trevor Vaughn, the groom in question, wooed his bride-to-be by first becoming close with her friends—which is to say that he learned all of the five’s darkest, most dangerous secrets and blackmailed them into convincing Fiona to say “I do.” The friends were forced to convince a doubting Fiona to go through with the wedding, no matter what, and now the charade is set to continue all the way to the altar.

Trevor has his own reasons for wanting to marry into Fiona’s family, and he’ll stop at nothing to make his plan a reality. But when he dies of an apparent allergic reaction at the wedding, surrounded by such close enemies, the possibility of murder isn’t far behind. And for the authorities investigating the case, anyone present could be a suspect…

Expect plenty of twists and turns from this one!

It Could Be Anyone gave me The Guest List meets Pretty Little Liars & I was here for it! This story revolves around the wedding of Trevor & Fiona. Everyone loves a good wedding right? Well, maybe not everyone because by the end of the night, Trevor will be dead. It truly could be anyone seeing as none of their friends like Trevor for reasons nobody else knows. Every character has something big to hide & all of them are sus. We all love a good unreliable character 👀 Overall, Hendricks does a beautiful job telling this twisted tale & sets up the perfect “whodunit”. Thank you so much to @netgalley & Jaime Lynn Hendricks for allowing me to read this delicious arc. 🥰

What a FUN and WILD ride!
It Could Be Anyone finds a close knit of college friends attending a wedding of one of their own to outsider Trevor. On the surface Trevor seems like a decent guy but the bride Fiona thinks the relationship may be moving too fast. Trevor, wanting to get in good and enjoy the advantages of Fiona’s political family by marrying her decides to bribe the close-knit group to make sure she says yes when he proposes.
The book starts off with Trevor’s inevitable and shocking demise at the wedding and then flashes back in between a couple of days before the wedding and 5 months prior when Trevor’s about to propose from each friend’s POV. Shocking and I mean really shocking secrets are revealed as Trevor approaches each friend with blackmail he has on each person and tells each one they better make sure Fiona says yes by talking him up and encouraging her about the relationship she’s doubting. Secrets within the group one doesn’t know about the other and secrets from their shady past thought to be long buried are all known by Trevor. I literally gasped out loud at some of the revelations.
The pacing of this book was fast as we got closer and closer to the wedding and the characters were perfectly terrible!

After FINDING TESSA, I had to wonder how Jaime Lynn Hendricks would raise the bar again, it was so good--but IT COULD BE ANYONE absolutely KILLS it.

Hah. Literally.

The opening scene is Trevor Vaughn dying on his wedding day, his friends and new wife all around him. We quickly learn they ALL had a reason to want him dead--they all had their own secrets. The question is, which one actually did it?

The story twists and turns, and one second I was SURE I knew who killed him, only to realize by the next chapter surely THIS character was the one who wanted him dead instead. Was it Ethan and Emma, the married couple. The playboy, Dutch? Or maybe it was Veejay the good guy, or Allie, who definitely had some serious secrets...

My head was SPINNING by the end, and yours will be, too! Can't wait for the next one by Jaime Lynn Hendricks!

WOW! JUST WOW! MY MIND IS BLOWN!

FINDING TESSA was one of my favorite books in 2021 and the author’s latest novel, IT COULD BE ANYONE is absolute perfection. I love this author’s writing style and her wicked, clever imagination. Jaime knows how to tell a story!

The story starts out a wedding where the groom, Trevor dies from an allergic reaction surrounded by his new bride, Fiona, and the wedding party, all of whom are Fiona’s best friends. The allergic reaction was no accident. What Fiona doesn’t know is that her new groom has been blackmailing all the wedding party. He knows all their deepest secrets and they all have a lot to lose if they don’t do what he says and convince Fiona to marry him. I loved how all the secrets were finally revealed throughout the book! My mouth jaw dropped each time. All of them have a reason to want Trevor dead. Trevor is probably the most hated male character I have ever come across! He made my skin crawl!

I normally shy away from books with multiple characters, sometimes having a hard time keeping track of all of them. I did NOT have a problem with this book at all. Each character is laid out so perfectly and the story flows perfectly from chapter to chapter.

Please hurry up Jaime and write another book!
