Grandma Esther's second chance Book 1 is only the first of the envisaged series of three books, as the titles clearly implies. It is intended that the sequels will be tracking Esther's life through the various stages of childhood, with special emphasis on her life as a a girl child born of two professionals in a policeman father and a professional nurse mother. The sequels will be depicting a girl child navigating the social issues of modern day America, attempting all the while in helping parents to inculcate and instill as much as possible, Religious virtues and good values in their children.

If the envisaged series succeeds in bringing about such a glorious result, its author Simon McQuinn will be humbled in the knowledge that in his small way, he will have contributed in providing the type of book that not only entertains, but also educates and motivates our young ones to strive to be good people, in spite of all the negative influences surrounding them on every side,

Mr. McQuinn believes very firmly that children are the future of this world, and that since his generation were children once, they represented the future for the generations that came before them, that gave birth to them.
