The Doomsday Show

An enjoyable book. Max runs a group of performers who sing songs from the musicals but with the lyrics changed to promote the dangers of climate change. During a period of mass demonstrations his daughter is kidnapped. Another group of climate activists start murdering high profile people from a list of worst polluters that Max drew up. Max and the FBI have to stop the murders and save his daughter. It's a fast moving plot and the climate theme doesn't detract from the action.
This is an honest review of a complementary ARC.

It's the first book I read by this author and won't surely be the last as I found it intriguing and gripping.
The author did a good job in mixing climate emergency with the thriller plot and making it work.
Good storytelling, fast paced plot.

And he must stop the killings before the outrage and backlash destroy all hopes for a climate-change solution. What will happen to Max's daughter - and all future generations - if he fails?
A gripping read which I couldn't put down. 5*.

The Doomsday Show is a phenomenal environmental thriller from start to finish. Filled to the brim with twists and a captivating plot, this one is sure to keep readers hooked.
