Description

Book 2 in the Kit & Tully series.

Tully has no memory of what happened at the ancient passage grave on the night of the full moon, but Kit was there too. She finally figures out what he chose.

And decides he got it wrong.

The Celtic god of love and music might have made their wishes come true but the price is too high — a hopeless future trapped in their deadbeat town, unless Kit can find a way to change it.

Unfortunately, there’s only one way to do that. Kit needs to seek out Aonghus again.

But now she knows the risks involved, is she desperate enough to go through with it, especially when Tully doesn’t agree?

What Early Readers Say...

Voyageavecmoi - The story has great momentum and definitely has an addictive quality where I really want to read on

diamond—ice - Kit and Tully's relationship just gets better and better her determination to support him and also want to spare his feelings is very adorable and you can tell he holds s great admiration towards her they clearly find it easy to talk to each other and share emotions and I think they are literally an it couple I hope they stay together they have come so far

pomalo - I just love any scene that has Tully on it. His positivity and enthusiasm is much needed during bad moods. I also love the way Kit and Tully's relationship is progressing! They are so cute together.

sandydragon1 - The rush of 90s nostalgia was a nice bonus too. There's something satisfying about seeing bits and pieces of my childhood being included in stories as if they're time capsules.

Mocha does it again with a great sequel in the Kit and Tully series. This book continues after the first but for this one we follow Kit and not Tully. Honestly I miss Tully as our narrator, I don't like Kit as much as I do the carefree happy Tully.
It was still a good read though and like I thought the Celtic god and magic was a bit more involved in this book than the last. It was nice to see where that fits into this story more. I can't wait to see where this story and relationship goes. If your looking for a sort, fast moving story with a bit of magic and a lot of music and romance this is a book series for you.

I’m invested in Kit and Tully’s story now!

I liked this one so much better than the first one, it was super interesting to read the continuation of their story from Kit’s side. I believed that I enjoy this one more because we can see a deeper understanding of Kit’s feelings and how develop. We can see her grow through the book.

At the beginning, she has a lot of insecurities about her relationship with Tully, but as. they. continue theirs relationship and see the opinions of her family and friends. She stays true to the relationship and trusts that they are good together.

In the other side, it’s hard to see how she completely focus on the well-being and professional future of Tully instead of also fucking focussing on her and her dreams. Specially because her parents don’t agree with what she wants for her future so they give in on other things she wants so they they can still manipulate her. And she just goes with it instead of fighting back and fight for herself just as hard as she fights for Tully.

Overall, it was a great read. I can’t wait for book 3, so we can learn more about their story and see how it develops..

I reviewed the first book in December and I’m so glad I got to review the second one as well. The first book left me wanting for more, I couldn’t wait to know what would come next for Kit and Tully so when the second book arrived in less than a month, I was stocked! Safe to say, I absolutely loved it and I’m sure other readers will too. Seeing Kit and Tully’s relationship evolve over time, watching them grow and become two wonderful people made this book pretty perfect. While the first book was from Tully’s pov, this one’s from Kit’s which gave this book a refreshing new take. I loved how everything slowly fell into place for both of them and can’t wait to see the next chapter of their story!

I loved this next instalment in Kit & Tully's relationship and I can't wait to read more about their future. The supernatural feel and the Celtic folklore are fascinating and really add something extra and new to the YA romance element, making it more than just another romance book. I also love the fact that the side characters are so important and less like side characters. Typical side characters are not very important and sometimes feel like they're there just for the sake of it, but Felice and Spike are almost as important as Kit and Tully and it makes these books seem as if they could easily be described as books about friendship as much as books about romance. Mocha's writing style is great and I whizzed through this book in a day. I'll definitely be picking up more of her books.
