Searle's latest book had me intrigued by the mystery and I quickly became invested in the main characters. Well done! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. Four stars.

For a debut novel this is definitely one that grabbed my attention from the very beginning. If you like your books about serial killers this is one that I can highly recommend. I must say my initial thought was oh no, not another serial killer book but I took a chance on this one and was very glad I did
I found the book a little slow to begin with and there were a couple of places where my attention may have lagged but all the parts in between more than make up for it. There are a lot of characters and in the beginning I was trying to understand how all of them could influence the story but they all play their part and it works very well. The main story once it gets going moves really quickly and I was then totally invested in the story. Lots of twists that keep you engaged and just the right amount of tension lurking in the background at all times.
This is a fabulous book and one I would recommend to other thriller readers. After reading this book I will be looking forward to other books of this genre by Ruth Searle. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of the book, all opinions are my own.

A really good read. It was slow to start with but then I couldn't put it down. Twisty and gripping. 4*.
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This thriller was pretty good! At first, it was a little confusing with all the characters and the timeline jumps, but once you get it figured out, the story line is great. It doesn't take long to find out how everyone is intertwined. I liked that there really weren't any slow spots in the book because it made it hard to put down. I also enjoyed that there were several plot lines running on top of each other but that all came together in the end. All in all, a great thriller.
A very good book, it kept me going until the very end and I really enjoyed it, I’m looking forward to seeing what is next from the author, keep it up
There is a lot to like in this action packed thriller. The details of surgical processes are fascinating and I loved the inclusion of the three pets as supporting characters. There are several strands to the plot, none of which are very surprising, but they are still quite well executed. The author includes a few random incidents which don’t really lead anywhere and seem a bit unnecessary. There is also an annoying and almost constant focus on what the protagonist is eating. The book concludes without resolving the challenge of what will happen to the protagonist’s wife (can’t really say more without spoiling the story) so I wonder if there will be another book to tie things up.
Great book! This book was awesome! It had a bit of everything! It had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, mystery, serial killers, Revenge, and some crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I highly recommend reading this book and series they're well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
Daniel Kendrick's wife, Fay, has gone missing after a massive argument.
His baby daughter was abducted and murdered a few months before, and he is frantic. He feels that the police are not doing enough to find her,and they suspect him of killing her, instead of one of her psychopathic patients.
There is a serial killer on the loose and Daniel prays that Fay is not a victim.
I enjoyed this novel, it kept me on the edge of my seat. I felt sorry for Daniel, as he was truly frantic about his wife's disappearance.
Every one of Fay's patients is a suspect, and while I worked out the twist quite early in the book, it was nevertheless a very good, dark twist.
I would like to read more of this author's work.
However, there are quite a few grammatical errors, and typos.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This will be published on www.instagram.com/kayleyisreading week commencing 3rd April.
▫️ This one is an okay read, but I did find I was skim reading some of it 😭
▫️the twists felt a little predictable, and not hugely thrilling...
▫️I did enjoy the conversational type writing style, it made the book feel a bit more friendly
▫️This is another read, with unanswered questions, maybe I want a bit too much, but I feel like the ending was rushed and left me feeling like I didn't really understand what had happened and why 🤷🏼♀️. ▫️The Kendrick's daughter was murdered and abducted and it becomes a side story, rather than a main thread. I think a lot more can have been done with that storyline, and could have turned this into a great thriller.
▫️I'd recommended this one to people newer to the thriller genre 🔪

This book was not for me unfortunately so I was unable to finish it. I didn’t enjoy the part of it I did get to read but I think a lot of people will. I will rate this 4 stars for fairness as I was unable to finish it. Thanks
I found this a bit slow to start but there was certainly a lot going on! Once you get the hang of all the sub plots and all the characters then it is an engaging and interesting read. It's certainly cleverly written and it's quite a quick read but it is easy to lose track initially. Sometimes I think simple is better but that's not to say its not a good book, it just wasn't to my taste.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the eARC of this uniquely captivating thriller.
Before their child was murdered, Daniel and his wife led a relatively pleasant, if not charmed, life.
However, after the loss of their child, Daniel quickly discovers was only the first (albeit the most brutal) cruel card that he would be dealt by fate.
Daniel watches the successes he has worked so hard for flow out if his hands like water, before he has an opportunity to rally and regain them.
First, after the murder that began this downward spiral, Daniel loses his marriage almost immediately as it could not survive the death of their only child. Next, Daniel's life's work an identity as a surgeon falters...
Intrigued? Wait until you read what happens next!
Until next time...
NO PLACE TO HIDE is a gripping thriller that follows a few different storylines and different perspectives which all connect to each other in some way. It wasn’t too hard to keep up with the different perspectives for me and I really enjoyed reading about all these characters and how all their dark secrets connected somehow. This was a really enjoyable thriller and I don’t want to give too much away but would definitely recommend this! I think this is also going to be a book series which is really exciting and I can’t wait to read the next book!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and The Book Guild for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I am so obsessed with this book! I read it as fast as I could. This had everything I want in a thriller. So much suspense and good twists. One thing that was a little difficult was keeping track of all the POVs. But I still loved it!
Daniel is a surgeon and his wife a psychiatrist , both dealing with the abduction and murder of their 6 month baby girl in their own ways. After the initial period both are consumed by their individual grief and there are cracks in their relationship because of this. After a row, Daniel's wife disappears , seemingly half way through a working day . Daniel does go to the police, but because he gets little help, he starts to take the search into his own hands.
This book is a little disjointed at first, with a lot of characters and told from different viewpoints and in different timeperiods , though it becomes clearer as the book goes on and the story becomes more centred on Daniel's viewpoint.
There are a couple of twists in the plot, the main one, I had guessed fairly early on. May be it stretches the bounds of credibility slightly, but the last couple of chapters rack the action up . The end is sudden and I would have liked an epilogue

Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for allowing me to read this ARC.
This is my first title by this author and will read more in the future.
Will recommend this to anyone looking for a thriller.
This is a great serial killer book with lots of twists and turns that i really enjoy.
Thankyou
A very good serial killer book. It had lots of twists theatre kept me engaged and I was quite invested in the story.

The premise of this book is fantastic and right up my alley. It grabs your attention for the very beginning and doesn't let up. There is A LOT going on and it's not always plausible, but it was very entertaining as long as you're willing to suspend realistic expectations a little bit. I hope Ruth Searle continues to write thrillers because this one had a lot of promise and mostly delivered. I think her writing will only get better and I can't wait to see where Daniel goes from here.
"A Complex Tale with Intricate Subplots and Multifaceted Characters"
At the outset, this book may appear to move at a measured pace, but it quickly becomes apparent that there's a whirlwind of activity beneath the surface. As you become more acquainted with the multitude of subplots and a diverse array of characters, the story evolves into an engaging and intellectually stimulating read. It's undeniably a work of clever craftsmanship, and while it offers a relatively swift reading experience, the initial phase might leave you feeling somewhat disoriented.
Succinctly put, sometimes the virtue of simplicity in storytelling is paramount. This isn't to imply that the book lacks merit; it's more a matter of personal preference. It didn't entirely align with my tastes, but it undoubtedly boasts its own unique qualities. The complexity and depth woven into the narrative, however, require careful navigation to fully appreciate its intricate layers and the diverse range of characters and their subplots.
"No Place to Hide" by Ruth Searle is a riveting psychological thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Searle's storytelling is intense, creating a suspenseful atmosphere as the characters unravel their dark secrets. The novel is a relentless exploration of obsession and the haunting consequences of the past.
No Place to Hide is a dark, twisty thriller that keeps you on your toes. Daniel Hendrick isn't doing so well. He's recently lost his daughter at the hands of a murderer and his career and marriage are both starting to fail (understandably under the circumstances). When his wife suddenly goes missing and blood is found at her clinic, Daniel is suspected of murder by investigators. Daniel realises he can only depend on himself to find her and slips into the darkness of the world in which his wife's patients live (murderers, criminals, and psychopaths) and try to save her before it's too late.
This book was really well written, considering it covered several storielines that blend into each other across the course of the story. The plot was well thought out, the characters were believable, and the tension was fantastic from start to finish. I had to remind myself this was a debut, and I'm really looking forward to reading more from this author.
