The Key To It All follows a 13-year-old protagonist on a thrilling journey that is equal parts high adventure and wish fulfillment.
13-year-old Charlie Price just learned that his grandfather is none other than the legendary adventurer Trent Manning.  It's mind-blowing for Charlie -- that's like finding out your grandfather is actually Indiana Jones!
The bad news is that his grandfather’s nemesis, Richard Tomlinson has suddenly reappeared, shattering a 40-year stalemate. Even worse, Richard’s private army of mercenaries has captured Charlie and Manning and whisked them off to a castle in Italy for safe keeping. Richard is relentless, well-funded, and perilously close to rebuilding a mythical machine he believes will grant him eternal life.
It’s Manning’s worst fear. That cursed machine is dangerous enough to destroy mankind, but how is he supposed to escape the castle, defeat an army, and thwart Richard? Charlie thinks he knows the answer and, despite Manning’s protests, impetuously kick-starts a daring escape. As the bullets fly, the unlikely partners break free, plunging Charlie into his very own Trent Manning adventure. Now Charlie and Manning must journey to Rome and Dubai if they hope to steal the final two unclaimed pieces of the machine and stop Richard once and for all.
