I’m not a motorcyclist, and have only ridden one once a very long time ago. But they have always intrigued me. Their open air experience and their sleek looks. But life experience has taught me they can be dangerous too. This book was an eye opener as to the real ‘craft and skill’ needed to start riding, to be safe and to enjoy the experience. The book has slightly retro artwork that I found fascinating. I would read the book just for that alone. Will I do more now I’ve enjoyed reading this comprehensively detailed book? Maybe, but if I do I will certainly be much better prepared. Thank you to Motorbooks Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC. The views expressed are all mine.
