Set in the small town of Helmsville in the mid 1960’s, this story follows Anthony, a misguided teen boy, who spends his adolescence and prime adult life chasing ever elusive fame, all for the glory to be recognized as someone important, but he will soon learn just how badly his world is broken. The tribulations he encounter along his journey through life bring about an awakening that leaves an indelible mark on his existence, as well as everyone he encounters along his path.

Can he rise above his circumstances or is his end already written before he begins? This story examines the human condition of poverty and perception, and, whether ones destiny is really determined by their DNA?
