Description
It’s library day and Mrs. Barker would love to take her class for a visit. But it will take some creative thinking and imagination to persuade a distracted student named Alyssa to get with the program. When Mrs. Barker reminds the class there will be dinosaurs in the library, everyone including Alyssa is eager to go. Boy, are they surprised (and a little frightened) when the library transforms into a Jurassic playground.

My daughter is obsessed with dinosaurs and she loved this one! So good and educational! I even learned a couple things!
Thanks @netgalley for the eARC!
What a delight this book is. Short and easy to read in one sitting. It has humour, is colourful and the illustrations are interesting and inclusive. The book is educational without rubbing the fact in your face, opportunity is there for counting and fact learning. It also makes the library sound like an exciting place to visit.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an Advance Reader's Copy in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
'There Are Dinosaurs in the Library' is a fun children's book! I liked how Mrs. Barker encouraged and included Alyssa even though she was skeptical/disinterested at first. The art was incredibly well done and I really enjoyed the creativity in the text placement among the illustrations. The story was very creative, well-paced, and cute. And I adore the endpapers of the doodles!
This book was absolutely adorable. The artwork was cute and simple but fun and it was even a bit educational!
When a little girl says she doesn't like the Library her teachers tells her there are dinosaurs and proves it. This book has the scientifically accurate name of several dinosaurs and plenty of fun!
My 3 year old is really into the Dinosaur phase right now. She loved that there were a bunch of dinosaurs she already knew the names of and a few new ones to spot as well!
The graphics in this book are so bright and kept her attention perfectly! She was so excited to find the Dinos in the pictures as well. A great book!
Thank you for the ARC opportunity 💖
This is a very cute book teaching children the magic that is reading. The illustrations are beautifully done fit the story perfectly! I can imagine this being a very popular read.
This book is adorable! I want this book for my own collection as well as for the children’s room. It will be such a hit!
Short and sweet story about the magic of reading. My four year old really enjoyed it! I thought the pictures were very charming and my only frustration was that the included dinosaurs were mostly ones I couldn’t pronounce. Gotta study up.
This cute storybook is a great way to introduce children to the wonders of reading, much as the teacher in the story does for the skeptical Alyssa. Reading truly is full of magic and wonder, as she soon discovers. The illustrations by Octavio Cordova fit perfectly with the story and provide some extra fun for little readers.
Thank you to author A.G. Allen, illustrator Octavio Cordova, AllenED, and NetGalley for providing this ARC for review consideration. All opinions expressed are my own.
It’s library day for Mrs. Barker’s class. Most students are excited but Alyssa doesn’t want to go. Mrs. Barker convinced her to go by telling her there are dinosaurs in the library. Soon the library is filled with dinosaurs, including some that are scary!
This was a cute book. I liked the illustrations and the message about imagination in libraries!
I received my copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
