This is set up really well! It details how to do everything. The author does connect a lot of the recipes which I loved.
Finally a Vietnamese Vegan cookbook! Fantastic recipes! I honestly do not remember when was the last time I check out the recipes in a book and I feel like I want to use most of them. From roasted garlic chili peanuts to sweet-and-sour seitan, from lemongrass chili tofu to pho, and from stir-fried noodles to banh mi, you can't go wrong with this book! I love the pictures as well!
Great vegan cookbook with great flavor profiles.
The recipes are easy to follow, the pictures look amazing, and everything seems accessible. Since going vegan Asian flavors are my go to and this book makes it possible to do at home instead of needing to go out. I can’t wait to try these!

I love Vietnamese food, but as someone who doesn't eat meat, it can be difficult to find good plant-based versions. This cookbook looks incredible and I am absolutely drooling at the recipes within. I'm a diehard tofu lover, but my tofu dishes are feeling a bit repetitive lately (plus I have two picky kids to feed) so I'm so excited about the huge range of tofu ideas in this book! The photography is beautiful and the recipes are well explained. I can't wait to start cooking!

I admit that I'm not vegan, but a few vegan meals would surely help with my health issues. There are so many recipes that seem amazing and I want to try !! And I loved that all the recipes had a picture, made me hungry at once. I've never been to Vietnam or eaten Vietnamese food, but this sure made me want to try.

I have taken a lot of Asian cooking classes but never a vegan one --- and given my orthorexic, paleo, allergy-ridden, coeliac, alkaline (etc. etc. etc. as the King of Siam/Thailand would say in “The King and I”) extended family, this book just might work. None of the recipes are too hard to understand or make and one can easily add in animal products if you have non-vegans at your meal and want to make them happy. Great book. Of course, there is a lot of tofu in this book but given my love of it (and mushrooms - lots of mushrooms here..yummmmm.) it is a definite reader and keeper for me. #shortbutsweetreviews
Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of “ Vegan Vietnamese: Vibrant Plant-Based Recipes to Enjoy Every Day” by Helen Le. All opinions are my own.
This beautiful cookbook showcases 70+ recipes of delicious looking vegan vietnamese dishes.
I love that the author starts with some staple ingredients to have in the kitchen. That is so helpful to the reader and shows that the author knows what they are doing.
The recipes sound delicious and there are multiple I am hoping to try asap. The photography was beautiful and well done. Overall enjoyed the layout of the cookbook.
I recently love to eat Vietnamese food, therefore was glad to review the vegan Vietnamese recipes book. The books contain really many recipes, and most of them are easy to cook. Every recipe had a wonderful picture of how the end result should look like. Can´t wait to try some of them!
What an absolutely gorgeous book. Beautiful scenic pictures of Vietnam. really helpful advice on getting started. A great breakdown on what ingredients will be used throughout along with explanations as to what they look like: where to find them: how to prepare them as relevant. And then there’s the recipes! Easy clear step by step instructions with the most beautiful high quality photographs of the end result. My only criticism is that one needs so so many ingredients! But they’re quite consistent across the dishes so buy them once and use them up as you work through the book!
Wow! What a beautifully designed cookbook. I absolutely love that every recipe includes a photo as well as a background on the dish. Each of the recipes also have an indicated skill level included, so you know what you are getting into in terms of time/level of expertise/quantity of ingredients/etc.
While I have not had a chance to make many of the recipes just yet, I am confident (just based on what I know about cooking vegan cuisine myself as well as the few that I have tried) that some of these recipes are likely to become frequent go-tos in my house. I look forward to diving into this cookbook more and trying these recipes!

Thank you so much NetGalley, Quarto Publishing Group – Rock Point, and Rock Point for access to this delicious arc!
5/5 stars!!
So many recipes in here are things I've always wanted to make, but never had the knowledge or the confidence to do so - but this book makes it all seem so easy! The images are all so vibrant and beautiful, they made me more excited to make everything!
I love Vietnamese food and this vegan version of some of my favorites is perfect. Beautiful photos and easy to follow recipes. I specifically like the pickled vegetables and soup section.
I loved the recipes in this book and have already tried a few! It was delicious and can’t wait to look through more.
The pictures are also very well taken and the recipes are super straightforward!
I personally have a lot of dietary restrictions due to Hashimotos and a histamine intolerance. I have recently turned to Vietnamese and vegan food as it usually doesn't have too much that disturbs my system. Which is why I requested this arc in the first place. I was vegan for 5 years in my 20s, and I would have killed for a book like this.
If you're looking to mix up your vegan food, this is most definitely a solid book to pick up.
This will be constant go to for me!! The recipes in this cookbook are so good. Pretty sure Pickled Mung Bean Sprouts might be a new staple in my house, I could just eat them by the spoonful. The pictures are beautiful.
Recipes are heavy on tofu and mushrooms but as a huge lover of both, I appreciated it.
Recipes I tried (and loved):
*Pickled Mung Bean Sprouts
*Braised Tofu with Pineapple and Mushrooms
*Crepes with Mushrooms
*Crispy Spring Rolls (Mine fell apart but were still delicious.)
*Lemongrass Chili Tofu
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and try these wonderful recipes!
