Hollywood glamor meets “‘Tis the Damn Season” in this irresistibly buzzy sapphic romance, perfect for fans of Alexandria Bellefleur and Casey McQuiston.

Katie Price is known in every living room in America. A small-town Wisconsin girl who became an A-list star, she rarely makes it home, but this year is different . . . Little does she know it will lead her straight into the piercing blue-eyed gaze of Wil Greene.

A lot has happened in the decade since those cold Wisconsin nights when Wil and Katie drove around in Wil’s Bronco senior year. Since then, Wil's law career hasn’t taken off. Her father passed away. And what started as a personal challenge—kissing a new person twice a week, every week—has made her a growing sensation, but her life is still stuck in phase one. Through the years, the two have never left each other's thoughts and desires, but now suddenly, they are back in each other’s lives. Their reconnection is instantaneous, and the passion is palpable...but can it stand the test of time?

Witty, emotional, and steamy, Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous is an unforgettable romantic read for everyone who almost kissed their best friend. And then finally did.

It was so lovely. This is a lovely slow burn romance that was very hard to put down. It’s steamy in a way that I was sure I was blushing even when I wasn’t reading a sex scene. A beautiful mix of tension and feelings. I loved all the characters. I hope these co-authors write more!

Thank you to St. Martin's Press and Netgalley for this eARC!

I loved this book! I loved this book so incredibly much!

It probably won't be for everyone. I mean, a romance about people communicating their needs in a healthy, productive manner? Who could imagine that. lol

This book was really unexpected. I love how many tropes this story didn't have. Don't get me wrong, tropes are tropes for a reason, they can be very loved, but they aren't going anywhere. And it's refreshing to to have something different, even in the framing of a second chance/friends-to-lovers type story.

Our two leads were wonderful. Tarnished, perhaps, but recognizing areas they sought comfort, and willing to grow. I don't want to spoil too much this early before release, so I'll just said everyone was wonderful, apart from the ones who weren't and were meant to be like that.

Any issues I have are minor. It seems to end a couple times, or maybe it's more accurate to say there are a couple points that could feel like endings. But from my perspective, that's just giving me more of characters I already love, which isn't a bad thing imo. Annnd...that's honestly all I can think to say against it.

5 happy stars.

I enjoyed this book and read most of it while at a music festival. It was an easy read with decent character development and a simple to follow plot. I really enjoyed the revelations of Katie and Wil's inner minds though I would have liked a little bit more conflict. Overall, this was a nice feel-good read with complex characters and a quick read to boot. Thank you for allowing me to read this!

Thank you St Martins Press for this eARC. This book is so incredible it makes me a little bit bonkers. The fact that I ever had to put it down to do silly things like "work" and "sleep" feels like an actual crime. My very very favorite part of building relationships is communication and OH BOY DO THESE LADIES COMMUNICATE. They use their words! They don't hide things from each other and let them blow up in their faces! They don't pretend like they aren't bananas for each other from the second they reconnect. They are open and honest and that makes them so SO much more interesting. The chemistry is out of this world. And the way that the tension leading up to their first kiss feels like all of those moments on Wil's Tiktok and in movies, that lead up to the big grand sweeping knock you on your ass kiss just blew me away. I need to get this physical book in my hands as soon as humanly possible. Just unfair how brilliant this was, how am I expected to go on???

There is always something special about that first love, even the love that you don’t is love until it’s much too late, and this book captures that so perfectly. That second chance with your first special person is something so many think of and to capture it so perfectly in a book is incredible.

This was spicy to the max (and I loved every bit of it!) At first I wasn’t in love with the concept because I really found it a bit weird how obsessed Katie was with religiously watching Wil’s videos but as it went on I quickly forgot about those feelings and grew obsessed with their fun little angsty relationship!!

First, thanks so much to St Martins Press for sending me an ARC for this amazing book! To say I fell in love with Katie and Wil from the word go is an understatement, these characters are complex, messy, but that’s what makes them so special. The way they are open and communicate with each other is a breath of fresh air I sorely needed, I mean I love a good miscommunication trope as much as the next person, but this was such a great subversion of that trope! The slow burn to their first kiss was worth every second of waiting, and the *spicier* scenes were so well written. I don’t want to have to wait until June to have a physical copy in my hands, I need it asap!

This is a simply outstanding slow burn romance and I didn't want it to end. I could read about Wil and Katie for an eternity.

I had never read anything by Mae Marvel, but glad I tried this title. I often wondered why the writing seemed a bit different during certain sections of the book. I had no idea this was written by two people and it made so much more sense. I enjoyed the characters and descriptions. Can't wait to read another title by this duo. Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this title early.

I was a little dubious going in because of a theme of some of the reviews - “no one talks like that in real life.” Well those people are wrong. Sapphic women talk like that. We do. It might be a little exaggerated but not past the point of disbelief. I have spoken to not just my romantic partners like that but also friends. We’re touchy-feely like that. This book was a treasure. I loved every sentence and I adored every character. This book is kind of like if Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was a grown up sapphic second-chance romance. The daughters of two best friends, former best friends themselves, fall out of touch for more a decade when one is whisked off to Hollywood by a predator at age 18. Despite all that time and history, their reunion is as though they’d never parted, in a way that feels natural and right. Oh yeah, this book is the good stuff. It managed to be both deliciously steamy and exquisitely erotic without being aggressively explicit, like an artsy film, which was the definitely the vibe. The book itself was very artsy and thoughtful but it was also full of heart. Like if a Hallmark Christmas movie was made by an indie filmmaker. This is the gem of this year’s holiday offerings

Katie is a famous hollywood actress and Wil is her high school ex-gf. Wil promised to kiss someone twice a week, every week after her father's death. When they meet again, there's instant attraction and they actually talk and discuss about their feelings! It's cool how there aren't any big miscommunications.

Enjoy this slow-burn romance a lot. Katie and Wil are interesting characters. They have terrific chemistry.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

I adored this sweet and steamy romance. With lots of mutual pinning and questions about the role of women in Hollywood. In this novel, Katie and Wil asked eachother and themselves who they are and what choices they had, questions that propelled the characters’ behavior and motivation. I found it to be heartwarming and encouraging to see them find the answers to these questions together.

This is my first LGBTQ+ book. I LOVED IT. Katie and Wil are the cutest, cat loving couple. I love the slow burn and second chance romance. How they secretly loved each other in high school and found there way back together 13 years later. Thier moms were my absolute favorite nosy little mother hens pushing them together but also worried about both them.
Honestly I'm not usually a fan of fluffy romances but I really enjoyed this novel and how beautifully the author told the story.
The spicy scenes were very good also.

I loved this! More romance novels where the couple is functioning as a team instead of constantly trying their level best not to be one! The characters were thoughtful and nuanced and sexy—I often find that books this steamy are not delivering the substance I want, but this one really exceeded expectations. I loved all of the characters and I particularly loved that the Bad Men weren’t actually characters in the books, they were off to the side being terrible on their own time. I look forward to reading more from Mae Marvel (and I’m keeping my eye on the charming bi NFL player they slid in there for a scene)!

This book is a remarkable departure from typical romance tropes, offering a refreshing tale of two female characters who communicate openly and honestly with each other.

This book’s portrayal of love and growth, without the usual drama, is refreshing. The chemistry between the leads is electric, and the tension leading up to their first kiss is simply mesmerizing. This book is an absolute must read for romance fans.

Famous movie star Katie Price returns to her hometown in Green Bay for holiday and at her parents' holiday party she reconnects with her high school friend Wil Green, an Instagram sensation for her twice weekly often hot & steamy kisses with random strangers. Both have had a lot of things happen in their lives in the past ten years, both good and bad, and as they share bits and pieces of the lives with each other they realize there is definitely chemistry between them. Can their budding romance survive Hollywood? Should they even attempt a relationship? Can they make law school work for Wil while Katie moves her film career in a new direction? Will they deal with their pasts in order to have a future together?

This is an unexpectedly, totally enjoyable, witty, emotional hot romance that is well-written as well as captivating. One of my favorite things about this book is that two young adults deal with their pasts, issues, budding romance, and their problems by talking things through, asking the other to describe her needs, and actually communicating with each other in a mature, respectful manner!

A beautiful sapphic romance about two old friends reconnecting and navigating their present lives once they realize they're in love, and maybe always were. I loved everything about it. The characters and the plot were wonderful.

Really enjoyed this -- very sweet celebrity romance with a lot of witty banter. I also like that it subverts/dodges a lot of the more problematic romance tropes while still indulging in others. Both main characters were really relatable and engaging, and watching their budding romance was truly heartwarming. Highly recommend

I loved this slow-burn romance that was easy to follow and the characters were so well-developed. I thought that the tension throughout the book was strong and I really appreciated all of the healthy communication between the two main characters.

Have to start by saying I LOVE the premise of this book. Hollywood starlet returns home and meets up with her high school crush. Twists (but no spoilers!) are that her high school crush is still pining for her AND is internet famous.
I have to say I like a level playing field, or level-ish when it comes to friends to lovers tropes because it’s clear they can help each other grow, but it’s not one depending on the other to pull them out of whatever slump.
Loved the FF romance aspect of this book and the journey is nice. There is some tension but it didn’t leave me panicked or anxious, and instead I got to enjoy the beautiful love story.
So happy I read this book! Thanks NetGalley for trusting me with this ARC.

Mild spice.
Love the cat “sidekicks”
Great supportive characters
Perfect romantic twist.

Decided to give this book a chance because I'm very cognisant that I don't read nearly enough sapphic romance and one of my goals this year has to be to take more chances - and I'm so glad I did with EVERYONE I KISSED SINCE YOU GOT FAMOUS!

Celebrity romances can be hit and miss for me, but this one left a big grin on my face the entire time. This one ticked all the right boxes for a Christmas rom-com - witty banter, sexy tension, a healthy relationship!!!! It was a great take on "small town Christmas romance" and I think will be one everyone will love this season!

Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for an advance E-Book copy of Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous by Mae Marvel in exchange of an honest review.
"Delving into the world of LGBTQ+ literature, 'Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous' by Mae Marvel proved to be an absolute delight. At its core, the novel tells the heartwarming story of Katie and Wil, a couple whose love for cats and each other is irresistibly endearing. The slow burn and second chance romance aspects of their relationship add layers of complexity and anticipation, as their secret affection from high school reignites after 13 long years.

One of the standout features of the book is the portrayal of their meddling yet lovable mothers. These 'nosy little mother hens' playfully push Katie and Wil together, while also expressing their genuine concern for their children's happiness. Their presence adds a warm and relatable dynamic to the story, proving that family can often be both a blessing and a source of support.

The author skillfully weaves a tale that captures the essence of love and second chances, while also celebrating LGBTQ+ representation. It's refreshing to see diverse narratives being portrayed with such care and authenticity.

Overall, 'Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous' is a captivating novel that radiates warmth and resonates with readers. Mae Marvel has crafted a touching and entertaining story that proves love knows no bounds. This book is a delightful addition to the LGBTQ+ genre, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a heartfelt and enjoyable read. Prepare to be won over by the adorable romance and the skillful storytelling of Mae Marvel."

A very special thanks to St. Martin's Press and Netgalley for sharing this advanced copy with me in exchange for my honest thoughts!!

Oh, this book had NO business gripping my heart like it did!! I was so not prepared!! For once, I felt like the description provided for this book gave very little away. "Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous" is so, so much more than what meets the eye (or synopsis). It's more than just a bet, or a famous actress coming home to Green Bay for the holidays and reconnecting with a childhood friend. It's a heartwarming story of love–two people finding what they need in another person, and communicating their feelings in healthy ways.

I thought so much of this story was original, and was taken in directions that were wholly opposite of your typical, tropey romance. Wil is an effortlessly cool, internet famous TikTok star who's channel is just her kissing a new person from Green Bay twice a week. V interesting idea, but I love how it's more than just kissing–it's diving deep into who the person is that Wil is kissing. And Katie is on the verge of starting her own production company as an already successful actress, but comes with a lot of traumatic baggage. Both women are strong, powerful in their own ways, and aren't afraid to articulate their needs! We love to see it!! I also really loved that this story didn't follow the typical trope of what happens when one partner is uber famous, and a "regular" person is brought into their world (they usually can't handle it, and that "regular" person ends up being the one to blame? Never understood that!).

My only downside is that the story felt a bit long, which is odd since it's only 368 pages. But regardless, the representation was done so so well. And also love setting such a progressive story in a conservative-leaning area–what a juxtaposition!!

There's a line in the author's note that I loved, which I'll share with ya'll:
"Keep working, protect and take care of others, make community and connections, include, learn, choose love, [and] put down attitudes and bias that don't serve."👏

This book was brilliant. Two strong women supporting each other, communicating, and working to be bad@sses. Both Wil and Katie feel like real people. It was fun to watch them realize their love for each other and to watch their romance develop. I really don't get the TikTok thing (I'm old, okay? LOL), but it was a cute setup. This book was lots of fun with a wonderful message. This goes in my re-read pile for sure!

This book really spoke to me when I read it - I was in the mood for a intellectual sapphic slow-burn, and this is exactly that. There's something really special about the friendship that Wil and Katie have, that even after thirteen years of absolutely no contact, they can reconnect and immediately find themselves back in the same intimate closeness you can only really achieve when you're a senior in high school and the world (and your future) is at your fingertips.

I loved a lot about this - as mentioned, Wil and Katie are both fantastic characters. We get to know them on a really deep level, since a lot of this novel is long conversations about their feelings, their lives, and how everything can fit together. It's a slow burn in a sexual way, but absolutely not a slow burn in a romantic way. These two are it for each other from the moment they sit down on Diana Price's mallard couch. I also thought the ending - while a little fantastical - was so sweet and great.

That said, the book is quite long. A lot of it is cerebral, and it could easily be 100 pages shorter and still include all of the yearning, and conversations, and tension. It will probably not be for every reader, which is okay! I happened to have a great time.

4 stars. Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the ARC.

Thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy. Review may have spoilers.

I loved this book. I found it very refreshing - two adult humans, who both adapt and grow over the course of the book, through clear and beautiful communication and mindful actions. The two main characters are quite beautifully developed and different, and it was clear where each was coming from in their internal struggles.

The way that Katie's response to a past emotionally abusive and controlling relationship was dealt with quite beautifully, I thought. As was Wil's history with grief and being stuck in her life. I felt both of these complicated pasts were dealt with compassionately and respectfully.

I loved that the fact these were two women was not a core conflict at ALL. Whether that is realistic or not (with the conversations with marketing professionals and agents, even in 2023 I doubt this would be such a non-issue) I am tired of reading characters struggling with their sexuality and much prefer reading about beautiful relationships without that piece even being mentioned. Some people may disagree.

One quibble - did Katie seriously have an EGOT? At 31? I think the level of awards she had received was way too advanced even for one of America's superstars. Maybe lose the grammy and tony! Or have just oscar noms!

I loved the side characters and the CATS! my favourite cats in a while, especially Sue and Almond Butter.

Really quality romance, thanks for the opportunity!

Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous is witty and charmingly entertaining. The characters in this book are easy to fall in love with and keep you turning the page to discover more of them. Wil and Kate are almost exact opposites, personality wise, but the author does a brilliant job of giving them depth that makes you want to see what happens next in their lives even separate of each other. This book is upfront and is one of the rare books that did not leave me thinking that everything could be worked out if they just honestly talked to each other. It was refreshing reading a story that had scenes that feel like they finished completely and left the reader with a reason to discover what would be next because the usual tropes were absent.

The author wrote Wil, Kate, and their mom’s like real people with complex personalities and issues in life that most books leave out. Wil dealing with stagnation due to her fathers death, but also finding internet fame is poignant in its view point about finding the right path in life. Kate dealing with working towards her dream, finding success at a pivotal age in life comes with lasting scars that she has to work through privately while living a very public life. The two main character’s Moms being best friends while protecting their adult children is the tie that binds the whole story together. I was pleasantly surprised with this book and look forward to other work from this author.

This was such a cute, light hearted book that really kept me interested from beginning to end.

The characters were described perfectly with just the right amount of detail so that everything that occurs just makes sense. Wil, in my opinion, is so dominant and sexy, and remains my favourite character from start to finish. Katie is the inexperienced bi sexual who used to be best friends with Wil back in highschool - which was before Katie was famous. They rekindle their friendship but is it really just a friendship? Or did they both overlook how they felt when they were younger because they were naive?

4/5 rating from me. Wish there was a bit more drama from the Ben side - but such a great read especially for the Christmas season.

Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous was a fun and delightful read! I loved the premise and how it relates to Taylor Swift's 'Tis the Damn Season (one of my favorites!). The lead characters are both well defined and communicate well with one another which is great. Bonus points for the adorable cat content!

Oh my gosh. *faints* This was a lovely, swoony sapphic friends-to-lovers and second chance romance that takes us from Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Los Angeles.

I absolutely fell in love with both characters, their banter, their years-long yearning for each other, and watching the ups and downs of fame. Those who surrounded both characters -- their mothers (who are besties, which is how they met), Katie's publicist and manager, and more -- were equally heartwarming and lovable.

Please go read this book RIGHT NOW.

A strong character driven romance that you’ll struggle to put down!

Katie Price and Wil Greene have known each other their entire lives, but it wasn’t until their senior year of highschool that they became friends. It’s been over a decade since they last spoke. Katie’s a famous actor now and looking for a quiet place to work on her newest project. This leads her back to her parents’ house in Green Bay. Meanwhile, Wil has been feeling a bit stuck since her father died. When the two reconnect at a family holiday party Wil hopes spending time with Katie will be what she needs to get unstuck.

This is a character driven novel and it’s clear from the very first page. All of the characters have really strong personalities that immediately drew me in. Even the cats have their own unique personalities. On its surface this is a second chance romance that plays out over two timelines, present day and their senior year of highschool. The past storyline mostly serves to build up the tension and chemistry between Katie and Wil and that’s what kept me reading.

There’s also a deeper storyline around the power and strength of women that I absolutely loved. Even when Katie finally calls out her ex for his abusive actions she still manages to center herself and her strength rather than making it about him. This is a really difficult balance to strike but writing throughout the novel walks the line perfectly to make this believable. Everyone involved with Katie’s new project is a strong woman who has managed to be successful in a male dominated industry and it’s great to see them all come together with the mission of helping others. Wil’s strength comes in the form of her TikTok. This was a storyline I felt could have had a bit more attention.

Overall, this is definitely worth a read if you like stories about strong women with witty banter!

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC!

Thanks to St. Martin's Press and Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my review.

This book was so good. It follows high school friends Katie and Wil as they reconnect after 13 years apart. A random bet made during a Christmas party has them both piling into Wil's old Bronco and trying to get to the bottom of an old teacher's possibly adultery/possibly bigamist relationships. It's a silly bet, but it starts to stir old feelings that had begun in that very car years ago.

Both have their own issues they need to deal with, from Wil trying to find her way in life and Katie trying to make her own stamp on Hollywood while dealing with an abusive ex (tw this book does cover grooming of a teenager by a much older man). But both find solace and strength in one another and take chances to try and get what they want out of life.

I loved seeing both Wil and Katie grow into their own and put behind their fears to finally get what they deserve. Their chemistry is almost immediate and has a hiccup or two, but they have friends and family in their corner that cheer them on. Diana and Beanie are utterly adorable and if I ever decided to strike out into Hollywood territory I would want Madelynn and April in my corner. Don't even get me started on the Kitty Quartet because I audibly 'aww-d' every time they came on.

Interesting concept behind the relationship and how it developed between two friends. Wil’s concept for her TikTok was very interesting and intimate. Overall it was a great book! I couldn’t put it down.

This is a super cute, sapphic love story about childhood friends, with a touch of a mystery. Honestly, it wouldn't have been super note worthy to me, were it not for the very clear/explicit conversations that the characters have regarding gender and sexuality. I'll admit, I've been out of the dating world for a long time, but I really admired/appreciated how frank and matter of fact the characters were about their pronouns, and about their sexual fluidity. I certainly hope that's the sort of conversation that dating people are having now. Not entirely my jam otherwise, but I totally appreciated the cute story and modern feel.

Wil and Katie have a special relationship. Even after 13 years of no contact between them, they pick up right where they left off. This time, with a LOT more banter and intimacy between them. There are clear romantic feelings between the two of them from the start, but a wonderful slow burn between their decision to finally act on their sexual desires for each other.

Between their romance there is a lot of other factors coming into play like Katie’s career as a Hollywood star and Wil’s beginnings of law school. These two struggle with the trauma of their pasts, but really lean into communicating their troubles with each other. I LOVE when characters communicate well!! I loved that instead of going for the cheesy miscommunication trope, the troubles they faced were real. These characters felt like real people.

There were some parts of the book I felt were a little too focused on the side plots like in meetings with Katie’s managers and co, I think some of that could have been streamlined and given just as much to the story. Overall I felt the book flowed very well!

This book is the perfect sapphic Christmas romance you’ve been looking for. Thank you for the chance to review this book!

I’ll start by saying, holy smokes, did I love this book. Absolutely LOVED. I devoured this book in a matter of hours, and I don’t typically love third-person books. This book is everything I’ve ever wanted in a romance. There’s steam, there’s sweet, and there is HEALTHY COMMUNICATION. One of my least favorite tropes is miscommunication and this is the antithesis of that. This book takes what romance novels should be, and gives it to us. It’s different from most romances in the best kind of way. Our leads are sweet and wonderful and this book is so much more than just a second chance/friends to lovers. I cannot give this book enough stars.

This was a great story about a world of "what if" in regard to celebrity culture and knowing someone before fame... I couldn't put it down! I really enjoyed following along with this story and feeling all the emotions as I turned the pages. I will highly recommend this book to lovers of the celebrity romance genre.

"Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous" was a fun read that reminded me a lot of the recently released Tello movie Merry & Gay.

The book takes readers on a heartfelt journey through the lives of Katie Price and Wil Greene, childhood friends who reconnect after a decade of separate experiences. Katie, now a famous actress, returns to her small Wisconsin town and unexpectedly crosses paths with Wil, an internet-famous TikTok star -- for kissing people on camera. The story unfolds as they navigate the rekindling of their friendship and their desires. Both protagonists are strong, empowered women who openly communicate their needs, challenging traditional expectations associated with fame and relationships.

The two main characters are wonderful, with realistic flaws that contribute to their relatability. Despite minor concerns about the story's structure (lots of back and forth jumping between present and past), it was an enjoyable read!

Overall, "Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous" gets a positive review from me for its originality, strong character development, and a refreshing departure from conventional romance tropes.

Thank you to Netgalley & the Publishers for allowing me to read this book before publication.
To start a second chance, romance will always do it for me, especially when they are friends or lovers; it is the perfect trope. Second, this book had the thing I don't see much in romance novels: communication!! We need more of this to show healthy relationships rather than lies and miscommunication tropes embedded into all these novels. Every page was steamy and the tension was there, this was probably one of the most romance novels I've read in 2023.

This was my first lbgtq+ book. It was a refreshing friends to lovers/ second chance romance of characters who were honest to each other and didn’t hold back. And crazy cat people! My kind of people!! It was nice to have characters who were honest to each other for once. Easy to read and get sucked in. Took me awhile to read only because of work and life, but was fairly easy to get back into it. I loved that it was partially set in Green Bay WI and loved all the local references. I would definitely read another from this author(s). I have read others under their own names that I enjoyed.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I am a cat person 100000% and I loved the scenes with the cats and their buttons. They made me laugh with their little broken sentences, so cute and funny. As for Wil and Katie, there was such a build-up of tension between them, I love a good slow burn. It made reading through the book totally worth it.

One big thing about this book is the healthy and good amount of communication between the characters. So many books I have read have turned me off because of their lack of communication (I do not like the miscommunication trope...ugh).

Definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves childhood friends-to-lovers with good character development and a refreshing plot.

I loved this book. Initially I requested it because I loved the title - it was so snappy and clear I had a lot of hope for the story.

Katie is a successful and famous actress, paving a new path for herself as a director. She lost touch with her childhood friend Wil, who remained in their hometown of Wisconsin. Wil & Katie reconnect, sparks fly, etc etc.

What I loved about this book was how clearly defined Wil and Katie were, independently of one another. The dialogue and the banter in this book are great, and it’s so flirty from the jump. It takes some plot turns you don’t necessarily expect either.

Looking forward to Mae Marvel’s next!

I love a celebrity romance, and this one was so fun! The concept of a celebrity returning to her hometown and reconnecting with someone from her past was so appealing to me. This is a fresh, fun sapphic romance with great character development and some steam.

Thanks to St. Martin’s and NetGalley for the ARC.

This book focuses on two characters, Katie and Wil. These 2 were best friends in high school, but lost touch. Katie is a famous movie star and Wil is famous on the internet for kissing new people twice a week and videoing it.
What Wil does not know is that Katie follows her under a fake name and has kept tabs on her since high school.
Suddenly, the two are back in each other's lives and things are like they haven't changed, including their feelings.
I really enjoyed this book.

Such a wonderful setup. How it blended hometown lovers trope with the star aspect. Really hot sex scenes regarding intimacy and connecting with a partner. Can't wait to read more from these authors.

I really enjoyed this book! I’m not usually a fan of the second chance trope but it was so well done! I love being able to recommend good gay books especially lesbian representation! I can definitely say this is a book I would recommend!

Heart-filled little romance that I would recommend quite a lot. The description shows some but quite a lot is hidden. Thanks for the arc

Thank you to NetGalley and St Martins Press for this ARC! I feel it’s rare to find FF romcoms that have a great balance of romance and spice but this was one for it! It was a bit slow of a build up for me but the second half of the book had me hooked!

At first I felt a little confused but that didn’t last for more than a few pages. It is a tough read in that there’s no skimming. Every word is important. I couldn’t wait to see the ending and yet I didn’t want it to end. Wil and Katie are formidable. I can’t remember when I’ve read such strong characters. And the mystery solved near the end is absolutely perfect! Put this one at the very top of your tbr pile! Actually, no, don’t put it on the pile just read it now! Seriously!

THIS BOOK MADE ME FEEL ALL THE THINGS!!!! ALL OF THEM!!!!

A friend told me she calls this “second opportunity romance,” where they had a chance to be together the first time around and they didn’t take it. Don’t ask me how I feel about this trope because I’ll start talking and I won’t stop talking.

Wil and Katie were inseparable in high school, but when Katie left Wisconsin and become an incredibly famous actress, the two friends didn’t stay in touch. Many years later, they finally get the chance to reconnect—and it’s only then that they realize what they had in high school was probably a little more than friendship. They have a second opportunity to explore their connection, but doing so is easier said than done. Katie is under constant scrutiny by the media, and Wil has certainly put herself in the public eye by filming viral videos of herself kissing a new person every week. (That’s exactly as hot as it sounds.)

This is the most wonderful book about friendship and trust and loving and being yourself. It’s about shitty men and exciting kisses and familial love and I promise it’ll make you swoon.

A fun, light hearted second chance romance that did not disappoint at all! It was such a fun read, I was laughing throughout the whole book. It was super light and quick to get through, I read it in on sitting because I couldn't get enough.

Highly recommend!

Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous combines a few of my favorite romantic comedy tropes into the same book: famous person/non-famous person and internet sensation. I loved this non-traditional romcom!

If you believe that love is love is love then please read this book!!

It's so beautifully written and there's so much heart and trust on every page. It felt like a perfect love story and I want more of it!! Both lead characters have so much depth and compassion, it's incredible.

Wil & Katie led separate lives that eventually brought them back together. It gives you hope that other people can have that happen. Add in that they both have and love cats and you've got a winner!!! I mean, cats. C'mon, that's a good as it gets!!

If you let the people who love you love you, that's a beautiful thing.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Really fun romance about two believably successful weirdos with great chemistry.
I like the Red White and Royal Blue vibes—this is a fantasy world, but the people feel vibrant and real.
Recommended!!

This was amazing! I loved the sweet celebrity romance with a lot of witty banter. MCs were really relatable and engaging and fun to watch their romance bloom.

Very cute! I loved the main characters and their romance. They weren’t perfect but they knew themselves and it felt like they were healthy and ready for the relationship. It felt so mature compared to some romance stories I’ve read.

Thank You Netgalley for the ARC!

i love this….. it was sexy and hilarious and talking cats and just so much fun and love and taking back one’s own story and it was great..

This story follows two high school friends one who is now, 13 years later, a tiktok influencer who left law school after the death of her father and the other an a-list actress haunted by her abusive ex.
They reconnect like no time is lost and find out how to move forward past all of their ghosts and back into each others lives.

This book had one of my favorite romance tropes- friends to lovers. The characters were very well written, engaging, and overall very likeable. Katie and Wil's relationship even had me swooning at parts!

Thank you to the publisher for the eARC. All opinions are my own.

EIKSYGF is a sapphic friends to lovers *almost* second chance romance. I loved Katie and Wil's relationship. It's so clearly obvious that they have feelings for each other, and the TENSION is unbelievable.

I also really enjoyed the subplots with Katie and Wil's respective careers. While both women are amazing at their jobs, they're kinda stuck and capable of more. They were so supportive of each other while also allowing each other the space to grow.

The side characters are amazing as well. Every character felt very rounded, which made reading this book so enjoyable.

I recommend this book for fans of friends to lovers, celebrity romances, and (almost) second chance romances.

Another celebrity romance that slayed. Great representation, healthy communication, and a heartwarming story.

This was such an unexpected and lovely book. I really adored Wil and Katie. This is a not quite second chance romance that is really more friends to lovers. In high school Wil and Katie spent all of senior year as inseperable friends. On their last night together they came close to kissing but did not quite get there. Years later they are brought back together in their home town. Katie is a famous actress attempting to start her own production company. Wil is a famous TikToker that finds two people to kiss each week and to tell their story. Their romance is so sweet. The communication skills!!! Love a couple that can be open and honest with each other. The ending reduced me to a puddle.

What a great read. I expected a very typical contemporary romance and was pleasantly surprised to encounter a really beautiful, tactful balance of what readers expect from this genre (and the sub-genres, tropes etc) and some liberty with the writing. Don't let this scare you, it reads super well and I really loved the story of childhood friends Wil and Katie coming back together as early thirty-somethings. So yes, a dash of second chance romance, celebrity love interest and LGBTQ2+.

You'll still get your grand gesture moment but you won't have to suffer through a third act breakup, something I only started believing wasn't going to happen when I got to about 85%! There's a lot of really thoughtful moments in this book where people take the time to make mature decisions despite past trauma and lots of complicating factors.

In Mae Marvel's captivating novel, "Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous," we are introduced to Katie Price, a beloved A-list star who returns to her hometown and encounters her former flame, Wil Greene. Spanning a decade of missed opportunities and yearning, the story delves into the complexities of rekindled love amid the whirlwind of fame and personal growth. As Katie embraces her newfound popularity, Wil navigates the challenges of a stagnant career and the loss of his father. Yet, despite the circumstances that have separated them, the undeniable connection between them remains. With every stolen glance and shared memory, the passion between Katie and Wil reignites, leaving readers questioning whether their love can withstand the inevitable obstacles that lie ahead. Marvel's writing is both heartfelt and humorous, as she explores the complexities of relationships and the transformative power of second chances. The novel will undoubtedly resonate with those who have experienced the bittersweet pangs of lost love and the longing for a happily ever after.

Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous is a lovely slow-burn second chance romance. Wil lives in Green Bay, WI after the death of her dad. An insurance adjuster by day, at night she films intimate kisses with strangers. When her childhood friend (who has since become a huge celebrity) returns home for Christmas, Wil wonders if they will reconnect. Katie has never forgotten Wil and regrets falling out of touch. Sparks fly as they reconnect, but will their newfound relationship last past the holidays?

I really enjoyed this! Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous had a bit of a slow start and it took me a bit to feel invested. But once I was hooked on the characters, I couldn’t put it down. Wil is a very interesting character who has a lot of guilt and complicated feelings about her dad’s death. She struggles to find what her next steps in life should be. Meanwhile, Katie is grappling with the price of fame and an egregiously terrible ex. I loved the side characters, including their moms and the many cats. While this second chance romance is a slow-burn at first, when it heats up there are delightfully steamy scenes. I look forward to seeing what Mae Marvel writes next!

I loved this sweet read! A former high school couple reunites after much time apart, and the spark is still alive. Time has passed and a lot has happened since they were together the first time, so will that get in their way of being together this time around? You have to read to find out!! Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for a copy of this book for an honest review.

An absolutely wonderful, steamy and heartfelt sapphic novel. As a queer individual I am constantly on the hunt for good romance novels and general representation in all genres, and yes Everyone I Kissed Since You Got Famous delivered! Childhood friends to nothing to something more, set in small Midwestern town, filled with nostalgia and self discovery. I had such a blast reading this story (spent lots of time blushing and kicking my feet as well), I cannot wait to own a physical copy and add it to my shelves.

As a Midwestern girl myself I was immediately drawn to this novel and part of why I enjoyed it so much was seeing references to my very own home state. I felt extremely drawn to both Katie and Wil's struggles in their own rights. I highly recommend this novel to my queer female individuals. Both characters felt extremely real and three dimensional, and their banter was unmatched.

If you are a huge Casey McQuiston lover (just like me) I promise you will fall in love with this novel. Another unapologetically smutty and queer novel to treat yourself to this summer, do not miss out!

This book was an absolute delight, keeping me thoroughly engaged from start to finish.

The characters were impeccably depicted, with just enough detail to lend credibility to their actions and decisions. Wil, in particular, exuded an aura of dominance and allure, making him my personal favorite throughout the story. Katie, on the other hand, portrayed an endearing blend of innocence and exploration, having once been Wil's close friend in high school before achieving fame. As they reignite their friendship, one wonders if their connection runs deeper than mere camaraderie. Could they have overlooked their true feelings in their youth, blinded by naivety?

Thank you St Martins Press for this eARC!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I laughed, I cried, I blushed...It was such a refreshing book with a romance you're rooting for immediately. I sat there feeling anxious about the miscommunication trope I assumed would happen, and it was SO nice that actually, these characters knew how to communicate like adults. How novel! I also LOVE their moms, although Katie's mom was a bit confusing to me. Regardless, I'm excited for this to be officially published, I will be recommending it to everyone.

Full disclosure: I’m not usually a romance novel reader. Fuller disclosure: one of the women in the writing partnership Mae Marvel is a friend. Which leads to the final disclosure: most of the romance novels I’ve read in my life (particularly since age 16) have been written by one or both of these two talented women,

Several years ago, one of the Mae Marvel duo said to me that romance novels are usually a constructed around a fairly narrow set of criteria expected by readers: there must be a happy ending, usually preceded by conflict or tension; the lovers are the main aspect of the plot; and the story should include one of the common romance-novel tropes, like enemies-to-lovers, secret identities, or a love triangle. One of the reasons I love Mae Marvel books is that they work within the rules while creatively expanding them. In “Everyone I Ever Kissed,” the leads are beautiful, wealthy, star crossed lovers, but one of the central conflicts is the fear that one of the leads will be exposed as a normal, everyday person. The other lead has a viral TikTok where she kisses people on camera for a full minute. This provides much of the early sexual tension in a way that allows the two leads to explore their relationship in relative privacy - at least for a while. In the meantime, their relationship grows (and steams!) while they treat each other like adults and each respects the other’s journey.

The writing is wonderful- evocative, poetic, and intelligent. The lovers are deeply drawn, and create compelling narratives, especially as the book winds to its conclusion. And while there is struggle, the lovers never lose faith in each other, and the relationship comes to a beautiful happy ending. Romance novels are still not my thing, but this one is definitely worth reading..

Many thanks to St. Martin’s Press, Mae Marvel and NetGalley for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
