Description
A beautifully illustrated story with a gentle and encouraging message to help children deal with their worries – from the CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal winner Catherine Rayner.
Victor the wolf has lots of worries. He worries that he isn't brave enough, that he isn't big enough and that he isn't fierce enough. In fact, Victor feels anxious about almost everything. But when Victor shares his concerns with his best friend Pablo, he starts to feel a bit better. And with Pablo's help, Victor learns even more ways to deal with those pesky worrying thoughts. And as the worries grow smaller, Victor feels a bit bigger, a bit braver, and bit fiercer inside!
Victor, The Wolf With Worries is a comforting and reassuring tale that is especially helpful for little ones who have trouble talking about their feelings.

What attracted me to this book was the beautiful cover! The quality of the drawing hold up through the whole album with cute and soft drawing.
As the title state, this book is about worrying and overthinking. It’s great for anyone who want to broach this subject with a child. I believe the cute illustration would hold their interest.
The type of worrying used to convey the message is mostly the one that stem from comparing ourselves to other or from our own expectations. Which, I believe, most children could resonate with It isn’t very long and the end message of sharing and reaching out for some help and support is well delivered.
Victor, the Wolf with Worries was a beautifully illustrated simple story that I found surprisingly relatable and was so happy to share with my child. Victor shares his worries and a friend helps him work through them, while sharing a few helpful strategies for working through our worries and honestly the simple tips are applicable for children and adults! We loved the story, and Victors gentle spirit!
Thank you Macmillan children’s books, NetGalley, and Catherine Rayner for the beautiful arc copy. All thoughts and opinions are mine!
