Description
1926 finds Mark Kingsley, a WW1 veteran of the Lafayette Flying Corps, but now a lawyer struggling to make ends meet in The Bronx, receiving a call from the local police precinct to act for a vagrant suspected of homicide. But relief at the possibility of at least some financial respite is soon negated by the discovery that the accused is his old best friend and fellow flyer from those wartime days.
Convinced that Lee Vennington is being framed for the brutal murder of a local priest, Kingsley sets out to discover the truth along a trail rich in recollections of their past adventures in and over Flanders. It is an endeavour in which he discovers not only romance, but also the realization that those years held dark secrets and a connection to one of America’s first and most-enduring aviation mysteries.
If you enjoy action fiction and murder investigation against a background of early aviation and authentic history, then click now and join Kingsley as he strives to unravel a cauldron of deceit and save his friend from the electric chair.

An interesting mystery novel. The story is fast paced and full of action. The author does a great job of going between the present time of the book and the action that occurred in WW1. The characters are well developed and makes this a good read. I hope the author has additional books planned with these characters.
Thank you to #NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
