Description
For dreamers and future inventors!
Perfect for listeners aged six and up.
Let the book talk:
“What???” Louey and Chloe jumped on all their eight paws at once, their matching tails curled into question marks.
“The flying daisies!” said Oak, proudly puffing out his chest. Then he paused and continued with a long deep sigh. “Oh, but…it is still just a dream, an idea in waiting. I need help to make it happen. Will you help me?” he asked, his large eyes blinking hopefully.
And so begins the story of Cloud-Named-Chloe and her loving guardian cat, Louey.
Among green hills and sweet lilacs, they find a grand adventure — to create an unusual gift that has never existed. Their team is unique: blue rabbits Pom and Pima, wise spirit bears Ulima and Ray, a tiny creature named Abacus the 8th and many others.
Together, the friends dream up something truly extraordinary. But can they create it? What secrets will Nature reveal? What strange places will they travel to? Join them to find out!
Science is beautifully woven into the story. With every chapter, the team explores Nature to invent the future. Each chapter adds something curios to the plot. Do you know who can go deep into salty oceans and freshwater lakes, yet lives on land and climbs rocks? Meet them in Chapter XV. You might be surprised – they are real cute creatures of our planet Earth!
Young listeners will love experiencing in a playful, story-driven way:
- Fun of teamwork
- Brainstorming ideas
- Primer on DNA and genetics
- Biodiversity of animals, plants, and other living things
- And above it all warmth of family and love.
Kids will listen to their favorite chapters again and again. A whimsical adventure that will last.

A sweet story about creativity and collaboration. This is a great introductory science lesson and would be fun to listen to in the car on the way to school or home.
I need to confess, I was not expecting that level of scientific. The book was explaining a very complex issue in a very reachable understanding level. Really appreciated the good detail the story was written on.
We did this as a quite time story when we were crafting since we homeschool and my kids absolutely loved this story. It was so cute and so easy for them to follow along with even after we would pause for a couple days. They were always very eager to keep going and see what was going to happen next.
I was worried about how long this story was for such a young age. But there were several places that made for natural breaks, and the narrator was amazing.
The characters are adorable and the messages are sweet. Everyone has a place and can help, and everyone's input is important. The narrator had the best intonation, encouraging and energetic, then slowing when the characters took breaks.
I would highly recommend this as an audiobook for parents to shared with their children.
This was a good book. I loved the science that was put into a fun adventure. My daughter loved listening to this book every morning. This book definitely made science seem fun, and my daughter asked questions about what was happening. Good book to read or listen to with your children.
I havent done a review on audiobook before. But it put my kids to sleep they absolutely loved it. Cute storyline and wonderfully read. Thank you to Netgalley for this opportunity.
Although this book wasn’t directed for my age range. I actually really like this book. I think it’s really educational I think but the characters are really fun and enjoyable and it teaches you a lot of things it’s a relatively short book because you can read it on multiple times speed, and I just generally loved how this book features things and how it’s an understanding and showing you what things are in life like how to grow plants and how variations are different and how different people can come up with different ideas from the same source material I actually really adore this book and I rated it four or five stars and I would definitely recommend to just generally people cause. It’s a fun want to listen to when you’re doing laundry or it will be a great one too read to your child before they go to bed
