Macy and Hunter's story was an emotional roller coaster. I shed both tears and laughter. Their friends to lovers story was written in a way you felt all the conflicting feelings as they dealt with the complications in their lives. Also, the relationship support received from the characters from the first 3 books was so much fun to read. Great ending the the Vanished Series. Can't wait for the next series.

Until this book, I didn't know about the Vanished series. Then, book 4 fell into my lap. Wow! When I read the summary, it sounded like a standalone that was part of a world. Now, I sort of want to read about the rest of this world (adding more books to my TBR, why not?).
I'm not one for spoilers when reading or writing a review (everyone has different tastes, who am I to say one way or the other). I will say that if you want HEA, it happens. If you want friends to lovers, it happens. If you want a little bit of mystery, it happens. If you want some spice, it happens. If you want chosen family and biological family, it happens. If you want family 'stuff,' it happens too. While I may not instantly recommend this book to my friends, I'd recommend the series (as I now have to go read to fully understand the friendships) and this book. Honestly, I read it in a couple of days because I wanted to know what was happening (putting three other books on hold :)).
