Description

To say Hannah Thatcher-Miles loathes Liam Park is an understatement. He is arrogant, rude, and much to her dismay—completely irresistible. For the most part he has been avoidable, until she finds herself desperate and has to accept a position at his father’s law firm…as his assistant.

Liam has begun taking on more responsibility at Baker & Park. With new responsibility comes a new assistant, but Liam could have never predicted that it would be none other than the life-long bane of his existence and the daughter of his dad’s best friend, Hannah.

Now that they’re both in Hannah’s brother’s wedding and have to spend every day together at work, it’s impossible to escape one another. With tensions at an all-time high, Liam is realizing that maybe he doesn’t hate Hannah as much as he used to, if he ever really did at all.

Temptation leads to crossed lines, leaving Hannah and Liam with an impossible question to answer. Are love and loathing really just a sliver apart?

Mostly Loathing You is a fun story about falling in love with the person you’d least expect, the person you detest. However, it does dive into topics surrounding self esteem and complicated parental relationships. This story also includes bully romance elements. If this is something that is not conducive to your mental health, please feel empowered to skip this one.

The story got me hooked, and I finished it in just a few hours!

I loved Hannah; she's an amazing and vibrant character, despite having some insecurities. I have to confess, at first, I wasn't really into Liam, but as the story unfolded and the character grew, he won me over. Seeing him stand up for her and defend Hannah really warmed my heart.

This book has plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, and the spicy scenes are just * chef kiss *.

Thank you, NetGalley and NRC Publishing, for sending me this ARC.

4.5/5.

I loved this book! I thought this struck a good balance for enemies to lovers, creating good angst but not making them too cruel toward one another. I thought the 3rd act conflict was real and appropriate and didn't feel contrived like they often do. This was so close to 5 stars for me, I only took off half a star because Jackson was so unlikeable! He never stood up for her ever, not with her mom, not with Liam, never. When she called him when she was struggling and he essentially blew her off, that was it for me. I know he apologized at the very end for not standing up for her enough but it just wasn't good enough for me! Needed some grovel from Jackson. However, the rest of this book was nearly perfect and Hannah was such a likable and relatable main character, I really felt for her throughout the book and wanted to strangle everyone who was mean to her!

If you are searching for a cute and sexy bullies to lovers romance? Mostly Loathing You is the book you're looking for.

Liam and Hannah know each since they were kids. Their parents are absolutely best friends so naturally they grew up together. BUT, Liam and Hannah hate eah others guts. Of course, WE KNOW that there's more in that story. But I wont give any spolier 🤭

The book was very emotional to me.Liam and Hannah have been pining after each other for years but they are so blind to their true feelings that it hurts. There's hate between them, yes, but they still feel so much for each other and now they reach to a point in their relationship that they can't keep fighting against their hearts corazón.

I completely adored this book and it made me feel so much. This series is one of best reads of the year 😚🤌🏼
