This sweet little book is about a dad writing letters to his daughter and saying important things about love and acceptance. I loved this book. It was an endearing read filled with beautiful illustrations!
Letters to My Darling Daughter
Dear daughter, this is my love letter to you...

I’d never say that I had a bad childhood. But the divorce of my parents traumatised me when I was really young. I felt torn and not enough, not lovable. That is something I carried around for a long time and I am not sure if I’ve come completely to terms with that. While I (now) know that my parents love me, I’d have needed something like this book.
I think it’s a fabulous idea. A dad reading letters to his daughter. The book is very bright, which I love, and the illustrations are suitable for children but not childish. They’re really pretty. I appreciated the words of wisdom and the messages. I think k this is pretty close to perfect.

I loved this book, and so did my darling daughter. It is short and simple, but contains lots of great lessons, and could prompt some lovely conversations with kiddos as they get older. The illustrations were also beautiful!
I read this book to my 8 year old daughter and she loved it. She pointed to the illustrations and commented how there were girls in the book who looked like her. She has ADD so this short read kept her attention. She may not have fully comprehended the whole meaning but she did know that I was telling her that I loved her. She did make comments on things that she had in common such as the pages with the dogs. She asked if we could read it again sometime. From a girl Mom’s perspective, this book has the same thoughts and ideals that I share with my girls. This was a feel good and heart warming book that I would share with my 8 year old and my 20 year old daughter..
This is such a cute book and concept! It isn’t super easy to use electronically , but after previewing, I want to buy it when it comes out to use with my daughter!
Super cute book for girls. Would make a great baby shower gift or birthday book. Love all the positive messages for girls such as love, friendships, kindness, empowering a love for yourself and who you want to be. Illustrations are wonderfully done and my favorite part was there was a section to write your own message for the girl/girls in your life.
This book is about a father writing a letter to his daughter and telling her how much he loves her and is advising her some life lessons. I got emotional while reading this book. It was such a precious, beautiful book. The illustrations were colorful and mesmerizing. A great book, really!
This was a really sweet book with a lovely message at its heart. The illustrations were bright and beautiful and easy to engage with and I loved that at the end of the book there was space to write your own messages to your daughter. My little girl is only 3 months old but this is the kind of book I want to cherish with her as she grows
This book was so beautiful. From the illustration to the message. I have been wanting to write letters like this to my daughter and leave little notes. With her getting into her preteens it makes me want to write to her even more.
Five stars. An oh-so-beautifully-illustrated gift book from a loving mother to her growing little girl. Heartfelt words of affection, hope, dreams, and guidance fill the pages of this unique offering. Reminders about loving others well, standing up for truth, and having courage are all there.
There's a page in the back (a great idea) where a mom can add words of her own. Some moms might want to add a reminder that not only does her daughter have a loving caring mama who prays she will grow up to be a strong, unique woman who loves others well . . . but that she also has a Heavenly Father who sees her too.
This is such an adorable children's book. The illustrations are so lovely. I have a toddler daughter and will definitely be looking to get a copy of this for her book collection. A lot of the messages are simple and at the same time, so important for little girls to hear and internalize. This book provides another vehicle for those messages to be communicated in an easily digestible way.
The formatting is fun, with a lot of the messages couched in illustrations that make them actually look like letters. The illustrations overall are colorful and engaging. And there is a good representation of illustrations to allow for many little girls to find a character that they can relate to.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC to read and review!
I truly enjoyed reading this book with my daughter. I loved the life lessons and the heartfelt letters from the dad and it gave me some more motivation to do little things to make sure my daughter knows how loved and important she is and what she is capable of.
This book was super cute and I could see a parent who has to travel giving this to their daughter! I loved the illustrations and representation in this book. It had very positive messages and affirmations for young girls. I also liked how the text was laid out in written letters to a daughter on each page. It was a very nice addition to have a space at the end to write a personal message!
Postcards/letters from Mom to her daughter with words of encouragement. Light, lively, useful and encouraging, the book is well written and brightly illustrated for an easy and affirmatively enlightening message. Recommended.
Every child needs to feel special and loved. In this story the Mother leaves tiny letters to her daughter expressing her unconditional love, words of encouragement and a place of belonging.
This would make a perfect gift for a new Mom to read to her tiny babe.
Sweet book and a lovely concept. Life lessons and words of wisdom for daughters. This would be a wonderful baby shower gift.
This was such a precious book that I can definitely see myself buying for my future daughter. I loved the art so much and the message of the book.
Letters to My Darling Daughter is an uplifting and inspiring children’s book.
Every parent would benefit in buying this book as it captures important messages along each page.
It teaches daughters to be strong but not afraid to show emotions; to love your body; to be a good friend and make powerful choices.
I love at the end, parents can write in their own letter. What a beautiful keepsake.
Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review. I recommend this book.
I loved the illustrations in the book, they are really great and lovely to look at. They bring the book to life, they are beautiful and look so natural and are really in keeping with the theme of the book.
As a mum this book was just wonderful, it says everything I say to my six year old daughter and it is one that she can keep and read at any point to know how much she is cared about and loved too. The book has a lot of positivity and it is really encouraging as well.
It is 5 stars from me for this one, I really loved it as a mum and would have loved to receive a copy myself when I was younger too as it makes a great keepsake – very highly recommended!
This book had such a beautiful message, I don’t have children but have a young niece and have been discovering more children’s books that I can share with her. This is one of those books! This is definitely a book that even as an adult the message is so meaningful and things we also need to hear.
What a sweet book, I wish I would have received as a little girl. From someone who didnt receive much attention from their father as a child, I would relish getting this book. It teaches a child that its okay to be yourself and love yourself. Such positive things to learn at a young age!
What a darling story about the most important lessons in life! This is a book I wish I would’ve had as a little girl, and one I’ll definitely be ordering for my sweet girl when it comes out this spring.
Not only did I love the story, I loved the illustrations. As a mother, this puts into words what I would say to my daughters! Well written and cute!
This colourful novel was so very encouraging and important.
I have a daughter and sometimes it can be hard to tell her everything and ensure it sinks in, so this book is a good segway into important conversations.
I liked how the story was actually different letters in envelopes. The theme was cohesive.
There were dogs in it, which is bonus points for my daughter.
I loved how there was a notebook page at the end to put in your own personal message to your daughter. Nic touch.
This book is great for encouraging your daughter and letting her know how special and unique she really is.
Read it with my 9 years old daughter and explained to her how mother’s feeling to each of their kids.
This is thoughful letter for the meaning of life. I am a mom for growing daughter, and i feel the same way what the letters mentioned about life. As our daughter grown up, we will always thinking of them no matter what, eventhough they have their own life. We told our daughter to encourage small things in life, be brave, taking risk and cherish the moments of pure joy. We want our daughter to be kind not for the relationship between us, but for pets and nature.
This sweet, short book is filled with bold illustrations of girls and their families. Each page pairs an illustration with a letter from a grownup. The letters may be from a parent who misses her or someone who wants to give a gentle reminder or affirmation.
This would be a nice book to read at bed or while snuggling your favorite girl. It also makes a great gift, as there's a page at the end to write your own letter to your daughter.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

I absolutely love these huge life lessons that this dad is giving to his daughter through letters! The text is simple and the lessons are explained appropriately for children to understand.
This is such a powerful and special book! The illustrations and so pretty and girly! Any young girl would enjoy this book. And any parent would appreciate it.
Thank you NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Walter Foster for the digital copy in exchange for my review.
Nobody writes letters anymore, but wouldn't the world be a better place if we did? Instead of just collecting junk, we can collect memories and loving words from people we are attached to. This book is a beautiful collection of letters from a parent to a child with one blank letter at the end that you can personalize every time you read the book together.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
This book was absolutely adorable and I really liked the concept. The illustrations were stunning and I liked that there wasn't too much text on each page. This book did an incredible job at getting across important messages very succinctly and in a simple way that children would understand. I also think the adults reading this to children would enjoy the reminders contained in this book for example that mistakes happen and that its okay to rest.
Overall this was a really fun book with lots of important messages that could be enjoyed by both children and adults!
A very cute, inspiring, heartwarming, encouraging, children's book filled with collections of letters that are tips to someone's child. This book should absolutely be read to the little ones, before their bedtimes. A lot of these tips have been said or written down before, which is fine. The illustrations accompanying the text goes well together. This book teaches children to cherish their friends, take care of the Earth, love themselves, that it is okay for things to be imperfect, to work as a team, and much, much more! I enjoyed reading this book and I don't want nor do I have kids but I will make sure that my nieces and nephews get copies of this book.
Letters to My Daughter is a lovely book with gorgeous illustrations and a heartfelt message. It is beautifully created with colouring designs on each page that urge you to turn the page and see what's next.
This book was everything I would have loved to hear growing up. And I would recommend it to anybody with a daughter in their life.
This book is a reminder to just live fully and stand in your truth. That there’s value in you & so much more.
I loved the imagery & the colors. The way photos were vibrant and each page had a different story to tell.
And the final page, it sealed the deal.
I volunteered to ready an ARC of this book through NetGalley.

I liked the message this book sends to mothers and daughters. It emphasizes the importance of setting aside time to express their love and support for one another. By writing letters to one another, it creates a private and safe space to share their thoughts and feelings. I liked that the lessons from the mother were valuable to her daughter's growth as a young girl.
I received an advanced review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
A great concept beautifully executed makes a touching gift for any daughter whose parent wants to show how much they love her. I loved it!
I love the message each page has and cannot wait to have a daughter to read it to. It encourages girls to be self thinkers, to have confidence in themselves and to strive for what they want because they are capable of anything. I wish someone had read a book like this to me as a girl!
I loved this book! It is a book I am going to need to own for each of my daughters. It perfectly says what I mean to say but couldn't find the words. It also has a space to add your own "letter" if they missed something. It was a perfect reminder for myself as well. What a great book.
