Through the Lens of Destiny

Review: A boy and his talking dog...er, or a man and his anthropomorphic shepherd? This has been done, at least thematically, a couple of times. I just got done reading a girl and her dog hunting aliens on another planet. Does this measure up?

Kind of. This is a really short story. Maybe half of a short story. Straight forward writing style with plenty of brevity to keep the reader engaged. No irrelevant details to bog it down. Just straight to the dam point with a little mystery thrown in for good measure. Although not technically sound, this writer knows how to entertain and should seek to expand the world in a lengthier novel.

"Through the Lens of Destiny" follows the journey of Michael Armesto, a security guard working at a secret government facility located in the middle of nowhere.

His world takes a sudden turn for the worse when he discovers the facility abandoned and stumbles upon a secret technology that reveals a hidden threat unknown to the public. But with the government keeping silent, and Michael himself preoccupied with a family crisis, he inevitably finds himself drawn to the heart of the conflict.

Accompanied by his devoted German Shepherd Buster, Michael grapples with a monumental challenge that extends far beyond his personal life, encompassing the future of the planet as well.


A great story about a man and his dog. He then finds a bunch of dead bodies and things get crazy REAL quick!

A fund and thrilling read that fans of the genre will love. Not much new content here, but what we do get is familiar and fun:)
