Description

Waking up hungover in the sheep pen is the least of my problems.

The worst? A foreclosure notice for my family farm.

Scratch that. The actual worst is the woman delivering the news: my ex, who broke my heart and left me behind for the big city.

I’ve spent a decade trying to forget Lia Thorne, and now she’s the only one who can help my family dig ourselves out from our crushing debt and even stronger egos.

I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. And if I go along with Lia’s new-fangled scheme, maybe I can win back more than my finances …

Just as long as my meddling grandma and her spoiled sheep don’t interfere.

Since You’ve Bean Gone kicks off the Farm 2 Forking crop of laugh out loud romantic comedies set on Bedd Fellows Farm.

Dig into this swoony, unputdownable second-chance romance by USA Today bestselling author Lainey Davis and buckle up for an un-baa-lievable ride.

“Since You’ve Bean Gone” is book one in the multi-author Farm 2 Forking series about the Bedd Family and I am hooked. I really enjoyed this story; it was funny and heartfelt.

Ethan is the oldest Bedd sibling and is now fully in charge of the family soybean farm after the death of his grandfather. Unfortunately, the farm has been in dire financial straits for some time.

Lia Thorne is the financial advisor assigned to work with the Bedds to avoid foreclosure. She is also Ethan's high school sweetheart who broke his heart when she left to go to college. Lia had her reasons but never told Ethan.

Ethan & Lia still have feelings for each other and I liked how they were able to come back together without too much drama. Lia is dealing with some personal issues that I don't want to spoil, but Ethan is there for her in so many ways. His family is as well and I hope to see more resolution with his siblings as the series progresses.

*Gran and Baabara Streisand-Bedd are shining stars!

I cannot wait to read more about this family. I am fully invested in the future of the Bedd Fellows Farm.

Highly recommend if you like small town rom-coms with well placed puns!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an early copy of this book.
