About the Author
A public and a school librarian, Gloria belongs to the Children’s Book Committee of Bank Street College of Education. She enjoys both city and country life, dividing her time between Manhattan and the small town of Pound Ridge, New York. Gloria has three adult children and a bunch of energetic grand kids.
About the Illustrator
Pawel Gierlinski is a freelance illustrator. His work is influenced by his love of cartoons, as well as fantasy stories and movies. Pawel enjoys creating different characters, places, and fun scenarios. His illustrations are characterized by warm, saturated colors. Pawel lives and works in Lublin, Poland.

Overdue is a book about the most popular book in the school library. When someone takes him home and he gets lost, Bob is so sad. No one is looking through his pages. When he is finally found, he creates a new connection with a kid.
This book was really cute! It teaches kids how to care for library books and books in general. It shows kids the importance of reading and taking care of books. The illustrations were cute and eye catching. I think a lot of kids will enjoy this book.
