Description
There are a lot of misunderstandings between humans and honey bees. Georgie Bee thinks it’s time to clear some of them up. He’s one of the only bees around that’s able to speak both Human and Bee, so of course, he’s the best bee for the job. My Life as a Bee, a tell-all bee-log narrated by Georgie Bee himself, is the perfect leisure read for humans looking for a short escape from the go-go-go of the world they’re used to. If you happen to be a literate bee, you’re guaranteed to find a kindred spirit in Georgie Bee for giving a voice to your friendly, conversational buzzing that so many humans have previously ignored.
My Life as a Bee is Georgie Bee’s latest project, his first attempt to communicate officially with Humans. It may be farfetched, but definitely hilariously entertaining. The chatty and charming Georgie Bee has forsaken the hot, crowded Hive for a chic, spacious boot box. Georgie’s his own bee, no matter what anybody else thinks of him: he refuses to work at a job that doesn’t suit his laid-back lifestyle. Instead, he comes up with all sorts of farfetched schemes, all in hopes of making a little honey.
Bees have longed for ages to make things right with humans. My Life as a Bee is their petition for peace, their plea for harmony. For one thing, humans really need to stop swatting at honeybees — it’s extremely disorienting and unnecessary. Plus, it hurts! How would you like to be constantly swatted at when you’re just trying to go about your daily business? Humans and bees aren’t really all that different, and it’s long time that we all, humans and bees alike, realize that civil accord — and an end to swatting — is the best option for coexistence.
