Description
Nine-year-old Divya’s life is turned upside down when her family moves from Delhi, India, to a new city halfway across the world. Suddenly Divya goes from having her own quiet bedroom to sharing one with her cousin—and a crowded home with the rest of her extended family. Plus she has to go to a new school where the other kids treat her like she’s from another planet. Everyone keeps saying change is good—but not if you didn’t want to leave home in the first place!
For ages 8-11. From the Divya Dubey series. Divya Dubey is a fun-loving, independent fourth grader adjusting to life in a new home far from where she grew up in Dehli, India. New friends, new family, and new adventures also mean lots of new challenges. Divya learns to tackle it all in a brand-new series from debut author Sita Jit.
