No matter what genre you work in from "The Magnificent Seven" to Mission: Impossible" you take a leader who calls together a special group to perform an impossible task and you have got yourself an exciting story. Once you add in that it is an espionage thriller set against the backdrop of The Roaring Twenties Chicago in between the two World Wars and you have successfully achieved orbit. "The Spyglass Project" is a wild ride filled with vivid detail. Ms. Crooks has given us a very exciting thriller. This is a page turning adventure that will keep you flipping pages as you try to find out what happens next. Michael and Gianna are wonderful characters that we come to care about and want to see more of. The rest of the team is terrific and, I assume, will be focused on in the upcoming books. I am glad I found this talented author and am so excited that there will be a next book in this series.
