Description
What We Do in the Shadows with the small town feels of Gilmore Girls in this swoon-worthy romance that will leave readers delightfully cozy and hungry for more.
When Cassandra Camberwell returns to her hometown of Hollow Brook to clear out her late grandmother’s ramshackle old house, the last thing she expects is Seth Brubaker on her doorstep. Her former best friend was responsible for the worst moment of her high school life, and she can’t imagine he wants to do anything but torment her all over again.
Until she unearths the real reason this annoyingly gorgeous beast of a man keeps hanging around: he’s an actual werewolf, who’s certain she’s the witch that will ease his suffering. But Cassie just isn’t sure if she can trust him again. So Seth offers a pact: he’ll teach her all about her undiscovered magic, and she will brew the potions he needs. No feelings, no funny business, just a witch and a werewolf striking a deal.
Totally doable. Until they get hit with a do-or-die mating bond. And now the heat is rising, in between fights with formers bullies and encounters with talking raccoons. They just have to not give in. Unless giving in just might be the very thing they never knew they always wanted.

This book is incredible; from the first page I was hooked. The writing style is easy to read, the characters are interesting and likeable, and the world is built very naturally. There was much more world building and magic development than I had expected in this cozy paranormal romance and it worked so well with the story.
This book was so freaking good! I was so excited to get this and was immediately sucked in by the story, I read the entire thing in one sitting. It was so cozy and easy to read. The main characters Seth and Cassie were so cute and I loved the tension between them! Definitely a slow burn but when the spice started it was spicy! This book was wonderful and I hope this is a series! I need more supernatural romances!
Such a fun and enjoyable time was had while reading this book. Any werewolf is a good one even a grumpy cinnamon roll one. I loved this story and I hope I can read more books from this author as soon as possible.
Cassandra Camberwell has reluctantly travelled to her hometown to claim the little forest cabin (eg: shack) her grandmother left her in her will. As she's navigating harsh high school memories and getting around town, she is quickly forced to come to grips with the fact that magic exists and she is a witch. Then she finds her ex-best friend turned (maybe) nemesis, Seth, trying to break into her grandmother's house! Turns out he's a werewolf and she's the only one who can help!
This romance novel was emotional, hilarious, spicier than I expected, and so so sweet! The bullying was delt with well as well as the healing from it. I enjoyed the mad cap adventures that just kept happening and am excited to read more about this world. I look forward to the next!
Charlotte Stein has this different writing style that makes my brain so happy and always beats back reading slumps. It was cute, sexy, funny, and everything I wanted and more in a paranormal romcom. Best friends to enemies to awkward friends to "we have to have sex FOR REASONS." Bloody fantastic, 10/10. No Notes. Everyone needs to check it out this fall.
I loved this!
So cute. Perfect for around Halloween time! Friends-to-enemies-to-friends-to-lovers is so good and the chemistry between these two is adorable! Making it a shifter/witch romance was just icing on the cake.
I loved the characters, loved their connection, and the growth they each make. 10/10 absolutely go read it!
How to Help a Hungry Werewolf by Charlotte Stein is a sizzling romance novel filled with unexpected twists that will left me guessing. This book is perfect for fans of romance who enjoy a combination of passion and tenderness.
This is the best werewolf book I've ever read. From the very first chapter, the intense chemistry between the main characters is undeniable, and the magic is completely delightful. Cassie's journey into learning about magic is filled with the exact right combination of bewilderment and joy--she feels exactly how you would feel if you found out magic was real! Her friendship with Seth is beyond perfect--Seth is sweet and tender and charming and a bit of a himbo. He is absolutely a hero to root for, which is saying something considering how he is introduced in the book! I love Cassie, I love Seth, I want the world for them! The pining is so good, the yearning is so good, the hurt is so good--IT'S ALL SO GOOD. Charlotte Stein has absolutely hit her stride, and I am beyond thrilled that this book is the first in a series rather than a standalone because I cannot get enough of it.
