Description
Michelle is a teenage girl, living in a charming medieval city in Europe, receiving a Catholic education.
She's been a good girl all her life, listening to what adults tell her and following the rules without question.
Michelle is now at a stage where she's experiencing a whirlwind of changes in her body, her emotions, and her desires. These changes are not just physical, but deeply emotional and personal, making her question everything she's known so far.
Due to her Catholic background and rigid upbringing, she can't share the emotional storm she's facing inside. Therefore, she finds comfort and refuge in her diary, where she confides her deepest thoughts and reflections.
Follow Michelle through the stories as she shares her path of self-discovery and new experiences in her diary. Watch how she deals with young love and conflicting emotions about what she ought to do and what she wants to do. Finding her true self, without losing her core values.
In this episode
Michelle meets a young boy, a guitar player, at the same Conservatory where she takes piano lessons. Will she be able to resist his green eyes and golden curly locks?

**ARC provided by the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**
I found this very cute and comforting. It truly portrays the bittersweet aspects of being a teenager in a realistic way.
Michelle seems like a smart, chill person and I like that, because I'm so used to teenagers being seen as impulsive and reckless, which isn't always the truth since they are, after all, people, and people are complex.
It does feel a little too exaggerated at times, some might even say insta lovey, but I understand that her lack of experience interacting with boys may lead to that intensity when she finally does.
There were a couple common mistakes: big paragraphs with a couple of sentences that could be separated, random switches between past and present tense... I guess it can be due to the character's age, but…
I do wonder, is the cover made by AI? If that's the case, I think it's a shame, because supporting artists is just as important as supporting writers.
A final note: it was nice to see a nod to Spain.
The review will be published in Goodreads today.
I loved this relatable and fun look on being a teen music loving girl. I could see someone like Olivia Rodrigo taking on a role like this.
I want to thank Netgalley for an advanced ARC of this short story
This was a story about coming of age and it was an OK read but I feel I need to read the rest if there are any to get thw full story
3.5 * I was luckily provided with the ARC version from Victory Editing and as I struggle after having a baby to get back into reading, short stories have helped a lot! This was a cute little feel good read and I would definitely read more by this author in the future. Thanks again Victory Editing for the chance to read!
