Description
Today’s Christian experience is not what it used to be. So much has changed. One visit to a Sunday morning service and we see that this is not the church we grew up with. Frustration is at an all-time high as many have voted with their feet and no longer attend worship service.
Author David Lee states that the church’s thirst to be accepted by the world and possess what it has to offer has negatively impacted her preaching and influence on society. Silent, she has no response to the moral decay of our time, yet she takes in more money than most will earn in two life-times. Product pitches from the pulpit and product tables in the lobby are normal and a guaranteed scriptural reference to paying tithes is inevitable. Laboring over souls on the altar is a thing of the past as many congregations look for ways to be more profitable.
Being about “My Fathers Business” has taken on a whole new meaning as the North American Church struggles to hold to the code of Divine Ethics that was once delivered to the saints by those who once valued the concept of no compromise. Sunday Morning Stickup has Biblically based answers concerning the subject of tithes and how to fill the pews once again.

By Dr. Frank Chase Jr. - I finished the book and all I can say is that David Lee stumbled onto a revalation of the tithe that has been hidden since the sixth century. The author takes a theological position that Christ became the last final perfect tithe for us on the cross. After spending three years studying the tithe, I personally know for a fact that David Lee is correct about the tithe not being money but food. Reading the book with an open mind will ultimately cause one to have to make a theological decision about what is truth and what is false concerning age old question of tithing for New Covenant believers and followers Yeshua. David Lee does not back down from stating that Christ is our tithe and that no believer should be afraid or live in fear because Christ is the tithe not your money. This book will challenge you to study if you are open.
By Churchboi - The subject of biblical tithing is no new thing! It has been the subject of questioning and contemplation over the years. However, it seems as though the more people are becoming students of the Bible themselves, they are awakening not only to the truth of tithing, but other truths as well. I think this was the goal and aim of David's book, Sunday Morning Stickup. Not just to use the scriptures in content, and context to pull the truth of the word out, but also to engage the reader on a journey of personal study to come up with biblical conclusions on their own. David does a superb job in breaking down the scriptures in simplicity and in context so the reader has no choice but to either accept the modern day tithe as untruth, or continue willingly blindly following the lie. After the book is read with an honest and open heart, it is evident, we have been stuck up, every Sunday!
