Creative Destruction - We Can Cure Capitalism

Millie longed to escape her rural childhood scarred by the credit crunch, clerical abuse, Brexit and CoVid19.

In London she builds a life and a family as society drowns in debt, capitalism destroying a future that free markets could have saved if only corporations had been kept in check. With citizenship for sale, London is annexed by the global aristocracy.

Millie’s precarious life unravels until she loses everything. She flees the capital along with millions driven out by poverty and predatory lockdowns. Pregnant and with nowhere else to turn, she ends up in her childhood home.

The story begins when Mark crashes nearby to become the first visitor from London since the Separation decades earlier. It offers a liberal critique of capitalism and ways to save it from itself.
