Amanda Jackson had succumbed to the fact that she’d been a captive. That she’d involuntary fallen victim to an underground market of despicable men. To protect herself, she was willing to try anything; even attempting to convince her captor that he loved her. That plan backfired.
Connor Brooks didn’t show emotions with his captives. Bring them in, get them out, collect the cash, and repeat the process. Amanda, however, was different. He found himself growing attached to her.
