A fun story with charming rhymes and cute colourful illustrations. The themes of adventure and friendship were really enjoyable and my 2 year old liked all the different animals. Also, Dara’s relationship with her mum at the end of the book was so sweet.
Thank you to NetGalley/the publisher/author for this eARC.
Reading about Dara and her friends as they travel the sea on their pirate ship was so much fun. My kindergartner loved it. She also enjoyed how interactive we could make the book as we read. This book is very inviting from the fun rhyme to the amazing illustrations, it captivated my 5 year old throughout and although my 4 year old wasn't as glued, the interaction with the books helped her continue to listen as she acted out what was happening. Would definitely recommend!
