Death or Volentus

Volentus is a necromancer gifted with the ability to raise the dead and command them to do his bidding, even leading vast undead armies. And while he often plays by his own rules, Volentus has found himself behind bars, his designs thwarted by Alicent Vale, a heroic vanguard.

However, when Alicent is captured by a deadly cult based in an accursed, forbidden land, one man is tasked with rescuing her - Volentus himself. Not so keen on putting his life on the line for his nemesis, even if it means a shorter prison sentence, he seeks to employ all his cunning and skill to come out of the perilous mission alive - and on top.
