Description
In a world of perpetual ice and snow, every day is a struggle to survive; both Isaac and Ezra know this all too well. Known simply as The Collector, Isaac is the almost immortal Hunter for the evil governor of the city. His job is to "collect" items his master desires by any means necessary. Ezra is a young man with a dark secret living on the fringes of society.
They seem like an unlikely pair, but when they meet, the burdens that weigh them down seem lifted, if only for a short while. Despite the dark forces trying to tear them apart, they work to find a place for themselves in this world of violence, greed, corruption, and fear.
BIO:
Heather Stuyvesant is a writer of fantasy, dark fantasy, and horror. Born and raised in the rural American South, she used to think nothing interesting ever happened to her, until she realized the most exciting things were all living inside her head. She has been writing since a young age, mostly in the horror and dark fantasy genres. She spends her non-writing life working with engineers in an office environment that takes all the fun out of reading Dilbert cartoons. Her evenings and weekends are spent working on her true love, her stories.
Idun Mars is a native of Copenhagen, Denmark, where she lives with her significant other, four children, two cats, and public transportation. Studying child/youth development at the University of Greater Copenhagen, she usually gets her ideas when the lectures are super boring.
About twelve years ago, she took up writing in English and never looked back. She’s an avid reader of science fiction and horror, but especially loves when the genre walls are broken and become something different.
